Gem Damaskeene razor Gem Blue Star blade WD Synthetic brush Taconic Eucalyptus Mint SC Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe Taconic Eucalyptus Mint A/S
Day 2 with this razor/blade and again the shave was very smooth comfortable and very mild. Needed that 3td pass again to get the results I like. I varied the angle of attack during the shave but it stayed the same sooooo think I'll put it back on the shelf and go with another SE tomorrow. Now go enjoy your day folks

Pre: Cold water face wash Brush: Vie-Long 14846 Badger/Horse Soap: SV 70th Razor: DeHaven Model 3 Blade: Schick Proline P Post: Cold water rinse, SV 70th ASL The more I use the DeHaven the more I like it, nice and nimble and slightly wider than a Gem or injector blade. I can see why the SV soap has so many fans. Until I'd bought some from BST my only experience had been with a sample and I don't think I get the best out of samples. Happy Shaving one and all.

Good morning Today I had one of my great shaves with GEM 1912. I should use often this little gem, because it gives me really close and fine shave. I think, this is the best choice for first SE razor. I haven`t tried Damascene and GEM Junior, but I suppose they are the same. Razor : GEM 1912 Blade : GEM PTFE (6) Shaving brush : Shea moisture black badger Shaving cream : Karo Fresh Aftershave : Barber №3 Marmara

Thur 28th June RazoRock Syn. 22mm Speick Classic Cream Mongoose B3 Schick Proline [ 7 ] Pitralon Polar Original A/S Another good Shave with a modern SE, this time the Mongoose a Razor I never dreamt I would be using.I probably read so many Forum reports that when one became available I could not resist. Invariably I get good Shaves with it , and today was very good helped along by my first use of the Speick cream which produces a creamy and effective lather. The Shave was smooth and comfortable with a good close finish. I know some do not like the Speick, but it works for me and I quite like the Spicy rather medicinal scent.

Fri 29th June Omega 11137 boar Lea Classic Soap Mongoose B3 Schick Proline [ 12 ] Lea Classic A/S Lotion I was not too sure how todays Shave would go as the blade was well used. However, with a good lather the Shave was not only smooth and comfortable, but the Quality of finish was really good. I shall retire the blade now as I normally get 8/9 uses out of the Proline. For me this blade is a winner in terms of performance and value for money.

Pre: Cold water face wash Brush: SOC Boar Soap: TOBS Sandalwood Razor: Blackland Sabre L1 Blade: Gem Blue Star CS Post: Cold water rinse, TOBS Sandalwood A wonderful start to the weekend and to hell with the warm sunny weather, I needed a sandalwood fix and TOBS is probably my favourite. Talking of favourites, I may have just found a boar brush I like as much as the Omega 11137, although the SOC is a lather hog at the moment. Have a great weekend everyone.

Sat 30th June RazoRock Plissoft 24mm L`Occitane Cade Soap Alu. Hawk/Windrose Handle Schick Proline [ 8 ] Pitralon Polar A/S Lotion I prefer my heavier AC/SEs to the Hawk which seems quite harsh during initial clearance work. It seemed particularly so today, maybe the blade has had its day- despite a lot of effort the quality of the finish was not good.
