I'm still in the dark...? The big offensive picture has been removed, but check out the upper right hand corner of this picture.

I'm still in the dark...? You posted pictures of unmentionable blades. Take cover because Fuzzy will be throwing BRICKS at you. We understand as you have a used brain. 😁 OK, I got it, but didn't think I'd incur any wrath. Yes, my brain is often tired...mostly from trying to remember all the rules in life.

It IS a beautiful set. The old advertising stuff just adds to it.

I picked up this nice little 1912 Gem set since it was in OZ already. Nothing too interesting but I love the handle, it has the squat head and curved cap, I'm guessing it would be early 1920's? I'm off to give it a run now, see you in SOTD!

I made a trade with cpool222 . I finally got my Gem Junior Bar lather catcher thanks to Cleave. Here it is fresh out of the package. The handle has lost its plating, but the head is in really good shape. Will be using it for Sunday's SE shave. I will use one of the handles I made last year. It will also feature a Rubberset 400 that I am restoring. I am evaluating the knot to see if it needs to be replaced. Right not, I am hopeful that I can keep the original knot.

Jim, Hope that you enjoy your shave with it. Are you going to use that black handle in the picture? Cleave

Jim, Hope that you enjoy your shave with it. Are you going to use that black handle in the picture? Cleave That is the handle I used today. I now have four or five different handles I made that I rotate through my lather catchers. It was a good shave.

I made it over to Lafayette and stopped by the store that sells wet shaving stuff. I picked up some Williams and VDH. I also picked up a tub of Pinaud Clubman soap. I also got in 2 sticks of Boots that boru62 sent me. Good day

I picked up one of these; And one of those; I'm looking forward to trying out the Star this morning. I have a Pushbutton and Contour II which I find a little too mild but I had to fill the gap with the Contour I, I will try it out tomorrow

Wish someone offered long flat top boar knots for proper vintage restoration, and more boar knots in general! .
