Pre: Cold water face wash, Brush: Thater 4125/1 Soap: Fine Platinum Razor: E-R Streamline Blade: Pal Super CS Post: Cold water rinse, Floid Black ASLDecided to finish the working week with a flourish. The Fine soap doesn't get enough use, the Streamline has nudged my other vintage SEs to one side to take pole position - loaded with my favourite modern blade , the Thater brush is a dream to use and finally, the Floid Black has grown on me and complements the soap nicely. Happy Shaving one and all.

Fri 17th Aug RazoRock Syn. 24mm P & B Citra Royale Alu General + ES s/s handle Schick Proline [ 4 ] Tuff Green A/S lotion Though I prefer my heavier AC/SE Razors I am beginning to like the Alu General fitted with a handle borrowed from my Claymore.Today I was trying out a soap that was new to me, the Citra Royale had a nice scent and the usual quality P & B lather, that helped me have a very good Shave. Not only was the Shave smooth and comfortable but it was nice and close all round.

L'ESSOR SE/Gem. I used a carbon for my beard, the PTFE for the head shave. The face shave was particularly good, as I've found with all the wedge blade razors I've used, going ATG on my head is better accomplished with an MMOC or such. Still, no complaints, a beautiful razor.

SE Sunday's Shave
Cold Water Wash Williams Mug Shave Soap Jayaruh #270 Gem Junior Bar Lather Catcher Original Gem Cutlery SE CWR Tabac AS My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Williams Mug Shave Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #270 brush. I did two passes with the Gem Junior Bar Lather Catcher Razor with an Original Gem Cutlery SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

I own the aluminum RazoRock Hawk V2 and The aluminum Colonial General. I used both for a few days, both had Schick Proline blades. I love the look and design of the HAWK V2 but it was just a little too mild for me, the design is so good that it tames a very sharp blade, this would a great beginner razor. The Colonial General has more blade feel and it is simply an amazing razor. 08/14/2018 - SOTN --> 08/15/2018 - SOTN -brush is a Jayaruh #256 /400 type/ faux horse knot->

Peace, Jamie another angle of this beautiful razor!!! just a futuristic top notch design

August 17th - Shave of the Night! Lather Bros. continues to release cool new scents & there really making fun and cool labels! There tallow soap is just great & there thick and cooling balm is in my top 3 for artisan balms (Soap Commander, PAA star jelly, & lather bros are my favorites). I got another Lady Everysharp - for under 10 bucks! and it came with the Blannk/dummy blade - so this was a virgin razor until last night - as always it was a great shave and the vintage schick chromium was perfect - the plus platinums feel sharper for me & I think the chromiums were the bargain blade that schick offered back in the day? either way its still a great blade - Peace, Jamie

Sat 18th Aug RazoRock Syn. 22mm L`Occitane Cade soap Alu.Hawk V1 & Windrose Handle Schick Proline [2 ] Pitralon Polar A/S Lotion Completed my run of AC/SE Shaves, with the Hawk which with a heftier handle works well for. Managed to get not only a smooth Shave, but the quality of finish is very good for what after all is quite an inexpensive Razor. Would make a good choice for anyone who wants to try an AC/SE Razor.
