I have been looking for a good blade source as well. My Walgreens was my only local source and no longer carries GEM SE blades. The off-brand they have leaves a lot to be desired. I am struggling to find good SE and injector blades locally so I have no other option but to go online. Where do you guys find the best blades for the buck? I get the multi pack lot of Treet blades from amazon, however a member her has an etsy store that sells the GEM blades in 100 packs, as well as injector blades as well. I expect he will be along soon to give you the link, most of use use him, great price and quick shipping. However, if you are in a crunch for some blades, pop me an address and I'll send you a pack of the CVS stainless steel pack. I can still find them locally, ad they are good shavers. It is the CVS house brand label, but are made by accuteck. AccuTec in Verona, Virginia makes several options and does private label for CVS and others. They offer both stainless steel and carbon steel options, both PTFE coated and uncoated. The main things to look for are .009 thickness (.012 seems to be for industrial applications) and look for 3 facet edge type as the 2 facet edge type also seem to be used more in industrial applications. Electron Microscopy Sciences sell the PTFE coated stainless steel variety at www.emsdiasum.com/microscopy/products/preparation/blades (about $15 per 100). EMS also list on Amazon and is a bit easier to navigate

Sweet! Always love a new source for blades! I think that may be the only "negative" with SE shaves, we don't have as many blade options as the unmentionable crowd. I think of it as a positive because it makes us focus on technique instead of tools.

I bought a 100 pack of treet blades, just to have some because the price was good. In reality I could the gem blades from CVS and get just as good of shaves.

Around here I just secretly tail Fuzzy ( wchnu) to learn of his secret Treet sources, and 99% of the time he's just driving to work -- I have gotten to see some geese though...wait, I've said too much !!! Seriously, we do have a very few number of blade sources (Walgreens & CVS notwithstanding), and Fuzzy has been kind enough to clue me in on a solid local source of his....although he usually cleans them out before I get there .
