Since it says scrapping tools, I dont think it would work for SE razors. Probably not refined enough of an edge.

On the white part of the box, under the arrows that point up, it says "fits all standard razor blade tools" I would take that to mean that they are NOT for shaving, but rather scraping.

Those will not be good for shaving. Even the triple honed "extra keen" industrial blades aren't good for shaving. Since you are in Europe check out Connaught Shaving: connaughtshaving.com/gemss.html for SS blades. I don't know where you could pick up good CS blades in Europe.

Because it fits all standard razor blade tools doesn't mean that it will shave. Once you try to shave with an industrial scraping blade it could ruin you on SE shaving if you did not know there are better blades.

The American Line blades are made by Accutec in Virginia, same factory that makes GEM. PAL and Treet SE blades. They are blades made for the construction industry, hardware stores and such. The part# on that package is 66-0089 and if you got to atblades.com the specs on that blade say Carbon Steel with 2 facet edge. 2 facet edge blades are not sharp enough for shaving anyway, always look for blades with a 3 facet edge. They do list a lot of GEM blades in different packaging on their web site, some 2 facet and some 3 facet edge. So even if the seller doesn't list the specs of the blade, you can use the part# from the package and look it up on Accutec's web site.

The three facet CS industrial blades didn't work well for me either.

The three facet CS industrial blades didn't work well for me either. I was wondering about those. So you tried the American Line 66-0362? They have blueing like the PAL blades. How bad were they compared to GEM and PAL blades?

How bad were they compared to GEM and PAL blades? I haven't tried the American Line. But I have some of the Gem and PAL 3 facet bulk CS blades and for me they are a rough shave. The CVS CS blades are light-years better.

BTW according to an Accutec customer service agent they don't make the shaving blades. That part of the company was sold to Edgewell who produces them elsewhere.
