Wednesday 10th October Yaqi Alu Tux - Williams Mug Soap - Schick/Eversharp G1- Schick Proline B #2 - Alum - Rose of Bulgaria A/S - Dove Instant Hydration cream The Williams soap is an enigma to me. It gives loads of lather, which disappears quicker than a toupee in a hurricane. Leaving little on the face losing some cushion. However remains very slick and the residual slickness is excellent. I just can't see me using it regularly. Hope Fuzzy doesn't excommunicate me. I initially went off injectors after trying the L1 and unable to get a decent shave. But after a second great result from the G1 with a Proline blade, my mind has been totally swayed.

WILLIAMS WEDNESDAY Razor: Bunny Prototype Blade: Chick Brush: JR157 Soap: Williams AS: Aqua Velva It has been over 2 years since I have used this Bunny. I can’t believe how nice the Bunny shaves. Jim’s brush whipped up a mean ol batch of Williams. I made it a tad on the thin side. This was to keep the Bunny from loading up. Vintage Williams is so versatile. Thick rich or a bit thinner no problem. The glide and cushion are fantastic.

Tabac Thursday's ShaveCold Water Wash Tabac Jayaruh #305 Gem Damaskeene OC GEM Blue Star CS SE CWR Tabac AS My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Tabac Shaving Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #305 brush. I did two passes with the Gem Damaskeene OC Safety Razor with a GEM Blue Star CS SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Williams Wednesday and everyday This is one solid setup folks and I'm sticking with it for awhile. If i used this for a whole year straight, total cost would be pretty low. Gem FW = gift from Fuzzy 100 blades = $25 Omega boar=$15 Aqua Velva blue =$4.59 Williams soap= $1.99/ puck If i used 3 pucks at most plus all the rest listed , we are talking roughly$50-55 / year. Just some food for thought. Great 2 pass shave again tonight . Did head and face and out the door feeling like a real man . Gotta love the ways of the past.

Catching up on a couple of shaves I missed posting during the work week. The soap in the scuttle is Barber Salon I think it was. A German soap with a nice rose scent.

Saturday 10/13: Got cleaned up for my 20 year reunion tonight. The push button seemed pretty mild with a stainless Personna blade but did a good job.
