FRIDAYS SHAVE Razor: ER 1909 Blade: Gem CS (7) Brush: Rubberset 49-3 Soap: Jeeves Bay Rum AS: Ogallala Bay Rum Limes & Pepper Corn I used this Razor and Brush combo twice in a row. This is my FAVORITE RAZOR no doubt. Perfect shaves every time. My Brush is new to me. I cleaned the knot and oiled the handle. It is a bit of a lather hog. I will need to remember. Performed like a Boar should. Have an awesome and safe weekend my friends.

When you do, do it on one of your videos. It would be great to see a person using it for the first time and their reaction. It is awesomely cold. It is great. +1 on the brrr. One of my SE converts swears since he’s used it as a hair tonic his bald spot shows new growth 🤔 Ok, Jim, I will let the cat out of the bag. Jayaruh graciously sent this to me to try, being as I am in "no buy November" I keep trying to psych myself up, and tell myself, it isnt that bad! I promise, when I get back into town, and get the sample, I will use it on video for the first time, along with a menthol soap. I will use the italian soap that my friend Petrvs sent me!

I am in the same boat you are, I'm decent enough to make one work, but far from being proficient. That's why I like this hobby, always learning something.

Sat 17th Nov. Omega 11126 boar Cyril Salter Solid Soap Schick J3 - Golden 500 Schick Single S/S - Japan [ 4 ] Pitralon Polar A/S Lotion Though the Golden 500 is mild , it still provides a good Shave. One does not have to concentrate too much while using it as there is little likelihood of mishap. You can do all the extra polishing up work needed to get a really good finish without causing any irritation.

SE Sunday's ShaveCold Water Wash Musgo Real Tom's 3D Printed Badger Superior Lather Catcher Original Gem Cutlery SE CWR Dove Men+Care Post Shave Balm My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Musgo Real Shaving Soap face lathered well with Tom's 3D Printed Badger brush. I did two passes with the Superior Lather Catcher Razor with an Original Gem Cutlery SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Dove Men+Care Post Shave Balm. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Sun 18th Nov. Simpson Chubby 1/ Maggards 24mm-2 Band Tabac soap Schick Type F Schick Proline [ 4 ] Tabac A/S Lotion I really enjoy using the F as it feels so good in the hand, does not provide as close a finish as an E2/Injecto Matic but more than satisfactory.

Well, I can tell you from experience, DO NOT ever use a menthol soap, and a menthol aftershave, and Osage Rub in the same shave. Dont ask me how I know, just trust me on this one!

I use lots of menthol soaps and Osage Rub but don't own any menthol A/S. When I was a kid, the barber used Osage Rub on my dad but said I could not have any as it wasn't for little boys and then him and my dad laughed and laughed. I did get some regular Jeris though. At about 12yo he finally let me have a little rub, and the rest is history.
