I know he probably doesnt want this to get out, but I must tell yall. Jayaruh is a bad influence on me. He sent me a bit of Osage Rub to use on a couple of shaves.
Well, I used it this morning, and lets just say, its a good thing I was off work today. I had my eyes watering for a good 20 mintues or so. I used a wonderful Italian soap that goes by a name I cant pronounce that is loaded with menthol. I then used 2 squirts of the osage rub, and boy oh boy, you would have thought I was cutting onions in my shave den!!!
On a more serious note, Jim, thanks for the sample. I plan on using it tomorrow with a bit of menthol molested Williams, and Fine Platinum after shave. The Fine is super menthol, and the Williams will be after I had the Menthol crystals. I may just be setting myself up for failure, especially considering the high temperature here tomorrow will only be 40 degrees.

I'd say your a menth head. Osage Rub is a real kick in the head when you first start using it.

Love that stuff. I gotta pick up a bottle. It was originally a hair tonic I understand.

I mix my Osage Rub with Witch Hazel at a 50/50 ratio. Get the best of both worlds that way

I sprayed it on a Gillette synthetic brush that smelled of burnt plasitc. It masked the smell wonderfully. Now, I'm just worried that it will make any soap smell and burn like the rub.
