I have a vintage Eveready brush that is looking a bit worse for ware. It is the same style brush my grandpa used ( not the same exact one, that was lost years ago, but the same model based on pictures and memories)
My question is this. How many here have a done a bruah reatore? If you did one how hard was it? Also, since I have 0 experience in the field of restoring brushes, is there anyone here who does it?
I will gladly pay for the knot, and for the time .I'd just like to have a working fascimile in my den.

It is not hard to put a new knot in an old brush. All you need is a drill, a dremmell, some epoxy resin and the new knot. I did my first a few months ago and it came out well, with a knot recommended here from Virginia ling, I have done two or three others since. If you decide to do it I you I, or someone with more experience, could give some more detailed advice.

Thanks. I may look into that. I also want a bit of touch-up work done on the handle and the likes..... Now off to YouTube to watch brush restores.
