Since the wife is away I have been sorting and cleaning my razors so I thought I would post a pic of the ERs, which is my largest and probably best catagory. If anyone Knows where to find a handle for the 1909 head let me know, it requires a much larger thread than any of my other SEs

Great picture. I can't help with the handle, but I can take any of those off your hands that you want me to.

That Lather Catcher in the center of the pic in the case is among my favorite razors. As for the handle... twhite can probably come up with a thread size and such and I bet jayaruh could make a handle. It would be wood.. but I love the handles he has made for me.

Of course if I had one I would help out but that razor is more elusive then the Auto Strop A1.

Thanks, that 1913ish is a lovely razor, great shave and really nice handle. I have seen some of jayaruhs handles and they are very impessive. Failing that, if I can get the thread size maybe there is a razor with the same thread. They are hard to find, I spotted this head in a junk lot from France, some time ago, with the stropper and thought I would just swap the handle to the 1909, that didn't work out . I have been looking out for the Auto-Strop A1 but they are pretty elusive, I have a B1 on the way, I guess that will have to do.

Thanks, I know you have some pretty impressive razors yourself. If you could find the thread size on your that would be great. I have notice (on the interweb) some 1909s have the securing clip attached to the cap and others (like mine) have it attached to the base, just out of interest which is your's?

If you have any unmentionables lying around - does the screw on their head fit or almost fit?

Those old razors often had proprietary threads.
