Kids today. How soft are they. twhite, I agree. I've read on other forums of folks who think a 9mm PCC kicks too hard. Just unbelievable. I guess they are comparing it to their cap guns.

My biggest kicker was a S&W 44mag 3” round butt. That had some kick. Useless gun although it shot flames about a foot out.

I have a few hard kickers and most of them are hand cannons that I won't allow most other folks shoot. Another is a lightweight .308 carbine. I have always tried to act on the belief that I carry a firearm all day and shoot it little. As long as a flinch isn't developed that theory works fine.
The nice thing about a revolver (or single shot) is that generally there are other rounds that they can fire that are much tamer. I bet that .44 of yours would have been fine stuffed with those. I'm trying to remember, is it .45 Colt (error caught and fixed thanks to Twhite) that is an alternate for a .44 mag?

Good question about the 45colt. I had to sell the majority of my weapons 20 years ago. I fell onto hard times and needed the money to live. I only kept the essential weapons.
