1/3/19 rolls razor didn't sharpen after previous shave but stropped 60 times used Shannon's soaps bay rum(bay patchouli grapefruit) used a small synthetic brush from paa and paa bay rum aftershave balm 2 passes one with and one against grain one extra pass against the grain on the neck with skin stretching I don't normally skin stretch but it seems beneficial with the rolls blade the shave resulted in bbs with no irritation one tiny Nick on upper lip the shape of the rolls blade makes it hard to get under the nose without going against the grain by the way I've taken to heating up water in a mug to almost boiling to rinse my blade love the feel of the warm blade compliments warm lather well

Thur 3rd Jan. Omega 1137 boar Lea Classic soap Schick E2 - Canada Schick S/S- Japan [ 4 ] Lea Classic A/S I have nice smooth/close shaves with the Supply SE, but actually enjoyed todays Shave more. The E2 is also quite smooth, but also has a nice blade feel that allows you to assess the progress of a Shave. Perhaps the finish not as close as with the Supply, but I was not really pushing for an ultra close finish.

Friday's ShaveCold Water Wash LaToja Shaving Stick Jayaruh #330 Bunny V3 Injector Schick Proline B20 CWR Pinaud Vanilla My prep was just a cold water rinse. The LaToja Shaving Stick face lathered well with the Jayaruh #330 brush. I did two passes with the Bunny V3 Injector Razor with a Schick Proline B20 blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Pinaud Vanilla AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Gem Damaskeene razor Gem Stainless blade WD Silver Tip brush Williams SS (modern) Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe Barbasol Brisk A/S w/added menthol
Another nice shave till the blade died, just stop cutting the stubble. Got 1 1/2 passes done and had to finish with another razor/blade. All ended well though and my face is happy. Now go enjoy your day folks.

Fri 4th Jan. RazoRock Plissoft 22mm P & B Spitfire PAL Injecto - Matic Schick Proline [ 3 ] Myrsol Antesol A/S Lotion A Shave with one of my single blade Injectors today, and I found it to be more aggressive than my Canadian E2/ Japanese Schick. The aggression was most noticeable when doing work on the upper lip/chin, though in other areas the shave was very smooth. I was very pleased with the quality of the finished Shave- a real face stroker.

Saturday 5th January Yaqi Alu Tux - Vintage Old Spice - GEM Contour I - Treet Super CS #2 - Alum - Old Spice A/S - Dove Nourishing Cream Two new (to me) additions to my collection. The Old Spice mug & soap was a recent excellent trade. The soap retains its wonderful scent, which I wasn't expecting. But it's ease of lathering and slickness duly impressed. I can also see a future for the mug. The Contour with the Treet blade was part of poppi's contribution to the Xmas PIF (of which I'm eternally grateful) and produced a very pleasant shave, the blade having smoothed out very well after its first outing. The Contour gives a similar shave as the Push Button and the 2 Natural Angle razors. Not surprisingly as the heads are very similar. The one thing I like about this Contour is the matt finish on the head which looks similar to the green handled Featherweight.

Sat 5th Jan. RazoRock Syn. 24mm P & B Citra Royale PAL Injecto-Matic Schick S/S -Japan [ 3 ] Alcolado Glacial A/S Splash I again used an Injecto-Matic but this one was fitted with a Japanese Schick. The Shave was very smooth, but the quality of the finished Shave was not as good as yesterday when using an AC/Proline blade. That is good to know that for me the cheaper AC blade works better in this PAL than the more expensive Injector blade.
