Gem Damaskeene razor Gem Stainless blade Vie-Long Silver Tip brush Gillette Pure SC Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe Daxton A/S
Back to using the Pure SC and another very nice lather was had. This stuff works well. The Damaskeene is very mild and easy on the face but still gives a good shave. All is well. Now go enjoy your day folks

1912 Squat-Head/Gem PTFE. About as aggressive as my other 1912 S-H, marvelous. Soap is awfully nice too.

Check with twhite . He honed my wedges. I use them in my other Rapide. With this new one, however, I am using the CVS CS blade. I noticed the disposable blade afterwards. Do you use any type of spacer or wedge with those blades? I have attempted non wedge blades but the gapping leaves it a bit too aggressive for my taste. I found my spacer and will be using it tomorrow.

Tabac Thursday's ShaveCold Water Wash Tabac Shaving Soap Jayaruh #327 J.A. Henckels Rapide CVS CS SE CWR Tabac AS My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Tabac Shaving Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #327 brush. I did two passes with the Henckels razor with a CVS CS SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed... Edit: I did my whole first pass without rinsing. I would call this a lather catcher. HA! Ahhhhh! You telling me!! LMAO....Lather Catcher is an understatement! 🤣😂

Thur 17th Jan Cyril Salter /Maseto ED 2 Band Speick Active soap PAL S/S Adjustable No1 Schick S/S-Chick [ 4 ] Massimo Dutti A/S Lotion I had to use this particular PAL which I had not used for a while, as I needed to test it before moving it on. Prior to the advent of AC/SEs I always chose a PAL for a special occasion Shave, being mild and forgiving I was able to sufficient strokes to clear my harsh growth without causing any problems. Today, I had no problems getting a nice close all round Shave, which because I did sufficient work around the neck, proved to be superior to the Shave yesterday with The Supply.
