Williams Wednesday- 23rd January. Omega 11126 boar Williams Mug Soap Mongoose B3 Schick Proline [ 8 ] Williams Aqua Velva A/S Lotion I started off this rotation with my lighter AC/SE Razors which are fine, but I prefer the heavier Razors. Today I used a Mongoose B3 , whose weight clears the primary growth with ease, I can then with a very light touch use it to do the polishing up work needed for a close all round finish. In fact I ended up with a Mid Week face stroker- Could it be the Williams ? .

Tabac Thursday's ShaveCold Water Wash Tabac Shaving Soap Jayaruh #340 TNNSER GEM Blue Star SE CWR Tabac AS My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Tabac Shaving Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #340 badger brush. I did two passes with the TNNSER razor with a GEM Blue Star SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

💈SOTD💈 01/23/2019 Schick Injector Type G - Supply Blade West Of Olympia Pride Captain's Choice Bowl That Darn Rob / AP Shave Co SynBad Knot Noble Otter Monarch Aftershave Stirling Tea Tree & Aloe Witch Hazel Mail call came in with my very first injector razor! I approached it with the same technique as the gem razors and tried to "ride the cap". The soap performed beautifully giving me the slickness needed to help me learn my new razor. I managed a fairly easy bbs shave with only 1 nick on a blemish I had on my neck. Pretty impressed considering I'm only gonna get more familiar with this thing. I may be hooked on injectors or I maybe just got lucky. Anyways, have a good day fellas! Attachments:

Let's see if this works. An EverReady Streamline, and 男 Otoko Organics Wet Shave Essentials shaving "soap". Unfortunately, the "soap" is not readily available, but it is outstanding.

Thur 24th Jan. Vulfix 404 mixed Vitos Super Red PAA V2 Starling SE / Windrose handle Gem S/S [ 1 ] Pitralon Classic A/S Lotion I brought this latest modern SE that takes Gem blades, to compare it to the S/S ones that I have tried- The Sabre L1 & ATT SE-G.The head is of machined aluminium construction and is a 3piece Razor, which does not match the looks and superior blade loading of many Vintage SE Razors. With a good Vitos lather theRazor showed it had good blade feel, though I felt that the head was dragging a bit. The Shave considering that a fresh blade was in use was quite smooth apart from around the chin. The Finish quality was not bad, not as good as my favourite Vintage SE Razors, but superior to both the Sabre L1 & ATT SE-G. The former was so mild it took ages to get a poor Shave, the ATT SE-G could not deliver a Shave without being shimmed. I shall continue to use this Razor, but anyone wanting to try an SE/Gem Razor would be better off with a Micromatic or G bar if the looks of the older Razors intimidate them.

Friday 25th January Burma Shave Boar - Burma Shave Soap - GEM Junior 1907 - GEM SSC #1 - Alum - Boots Freshwood A/S - Dove Nourishing Cream The above set up is down to the TOST Christmas PIF. After opening the Burma Shave set, I cold soaked and lathered the brush a few times. This has broken it in slightly as it has bloomed a bit and the tips have started to split and soften. The soap, now stuck firmly in the mug lathered up really easily. If there was a scent, I couldn't detect it. The Junior with a new GEM blade was ultra efficient. I could tell after the first pass how close it was going to be. Greatly pleased!!! There is a patent date of Aug 28 1900 on the razor head. So my question is where did 1907 come from?
