Tabac Tuesday's ShaveCold Water Wash Tabac Shaving Soap Jayaruh #313 Open Faced Damaskeene ShaVeZee SE CWR Tabac AS My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Tabac Shaving Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #313 badger brush. I did two passes with the Open Faced Damaskeene razor with a ShaVeZee SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed... I like that handle, very nice Jim .

Tuesday 29th January Yaqi Moka Express - OSP Lemon, Peppermint & Menthol - Pal Adjustable - Schick Proline B #1 - Alum - Electrif's Lemon Chill A/S - Dove Nourishing Cream When I received the Pal from Mike B aka mpf9ret the case included a cart with one Schick Chick blade. My initial plan was to use this Chick blade in the Pal then fill the cart with Proline B blades. The reality was the Chick blade got damaged with self clumsiness, so my maiden shave was with one of the Proline blades I originally charged to the cart. Set the Pal to the mid setting and after the first pass confirmed this setting was fine for the remaining passes for the growth I had. Finding the sweet angle was easy, the Proline blade giving a very close shave. I always liked the Pal adjustable for its aesthetic value. Now, I know it shaves beautifully...........I love it!!!!!

Ive never used a lather catcher yet , but I'm planning on getting one . Got out bid on a couple Damaskeenes a few months ago too. Guess it wasnt meant to be .Bought a 1912 Gem Brit a month ago and it sure gives great shaves . Ive never enjoyed shaving so much as i did this past year. Shame that it so long to discover the injectors and SE razors but you guys got me hooked now.

I got my first lather catcher from Fuzzy. It changed everything.

I got my first lather catcher from Fuzzy. It changed everything. Fuzzy set me on the path to SE shaving almost a year ago, sent me a Gem Feather Weight and blades and soap, which I still use. He suggested I try a lather catcher and a Damaskène too. I'll hunt one down someday and see what all the fuss is about. We are sure lucky to have a guy like Fuzzy around .

Tue 29th Jan RazoRock Syn 24mm Williams Mug Soap Gem Jnr 1912- brass Gem S/S [ 4 ] Massimo Dutti A/S lotion Normally I get a very nice Shave with the Gem, but not today as it was not at all smooth with a poor finish. In fact the last two shaves have been poor, so I suspect that the blade may well have got spoiled while in my Travel Bag over the weekend.
