I'm sad to say that one of the blade stops on my Ever Ready 1914, aka the "Little Lather Catcher", has popped off, making it unusable Since the great majority of my collection has come from antique store hunts, it might be a while before I can replace it. Oh well, it gives me a good excuse to up my trips to the shave store.... I mean, antique malls

Well, that's the pits Mr.G.
But let me pose this to you... I have a '14 where the head isn't in too bad a condition, I mean it's not a museum piece by any means but after a few beers you might want to take it home. It's a working shaver- I used it once to make sure before putting it away as a spare '14.
The handle on it is really ratty though.
I'd like to have a new (to me) decent handle for mine, or would you like a head for your handle?
If you're interested I can post pics for you to look at after you've had a few. PM me if either of these offers interest you.

I haven't lost hope just yet of finding another one locally, but I'll keep this in mind if I feel the need to "outsource" I also have all kinds of razors with either a banged up head or handle. If you are looking for a specific handle, maybe I have a spare.

Nothing specific required in a handle for my head, it's a user, not a collector. The one I have is smooth, and other than canting the head at an angle (the thread end is really beat), it's worn, ugly, and smooth is the pits for me.
If you have one that fits I'd be happy to purchase it. It'll keep the $ in the family so to speak.
