Menthol Monday's Shave
Cold Water Wash C.O. Bigelow Jayaruh #220 Gem Feather Weight Gem Blue Star SE CWR Osage Rub This week I am using my Jayaruh #220 brush which commemorates my one year in Vietnam from March 8, 1968, to March 5, 1969. It has been 51 years since I first landed in Vietnam. My prep was just a cold water rinse. The C.O. Bigelow Shaving Cream face lathered well with the Jayaruh #220 brush. I did two passes with the Gem Feather Weight razor with a Gem Blue Star SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Schick G8 razor Personna blade WD Silver Tip Brush Palmolive Shave Stick Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe Pinaud Clubman A/S
What a difference between the regular Personna and the Personna 74 blades! The regular Personna is good but the 74 is miles better to me. Wish I had more of them. Oh, the shave turned out just fine. Now go enjoy your day folk

I am using the Gem Feather Weight this week; at least until the Starling arrives from Fuzzy. I found an ad for the Feather Weight that was a long one column ad. I cut it in half and put them side by side to make it easier to read. It is indeed two words according to Gem. It is the Feather Weight. It is a nice shaver.

March 4th -- Lundi Gras Shave!!!
I had to be up and shaving at 3:30 this morning, so I'm using a picture I took earlier in the day. I used the Dammy (closed comb) because I needed an amazing shave while I was still mostly asleep....it did NOT disappoint. I got a great 3 pass shave with the Dammy, a La Toja shave stick, and my Razorock 24mm Plissoft.

Mon 4th March. RazoRock Syn. 22mm Cyril Salter Solid Soap ER 1924 / Windrose S/S Handle Gem S/S [ 2 ] Pitralon Polar A/S Lotion Not so much growth after an ultra close one with a " Streamline" yesterday. For me the ER1924 fitted with a longer handle, is good to hold and manoeuvre during a Shave, which are normally very smooth and comfortable. Today the !924 made short work of the stubble that I had and delivered a good close all round finish.

Tabac Tuesday's ShaveCold Water Wash Tabac Shaving Soap Jayaruh #220 Gem Feather Weight Gem Blue Star SE CWR Tabac AS My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Tabac Shaving Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #220 brush. I did two passes with the Gem Feather Weight razor with a Gem Blue Star SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed... Edit: I wanted to add that I only did eight swirls when loading my brush. It was totally sufficient for my two pass shave. I still washed a bunch of lather down the drain.
