We're talking about the same thing. How it is supposed to work: You click the Proline blade onto the adapter (see animation) then you just slide both into the razor, just like an Enders blade, with the Proline facing the "blade tray". The "ES1" from the first animation would be (partly) visible through the opening where you are "grasping the blade at the rear where the top wall has been indented to provide a thumb-hold" (quote from the patent). So far the theory. I'll find out in a few days if my ideas actually work. P.S.: That shim sure is rusty. I'll await proof of concept with great interest. Yes it is. There is a good chance I'll find out that I made a small error in measurement somewhere. Or that the material is not suitable. Or that the cheapest 3D print shop in England is rubbish. Or that I didn't think it through properly. With luck, attempt #1 will work. I should know within a week.

A solution for a potentially non-existing problem: I must resist the urge to order some before I have the first batch. Should I have gone for Nylon as a material? No reply from the 3D print shop yet.

I should wait until you succeed with your adapters, but that red enders is so beautiful, that I want it badly. Off to etsy and ebay.

You do understand that the adapter, if it works, will just simplify things. You can currently use the Enders with a blunted Enders blade as a shim for a Proline B-20 blade.

Email from 3D printing service: So, I've picked a different shop. The one I've used before for my other adapters. Within minutes they've sent me the following screenshot: They are $1.70 more expensive. I have learned a lesson.

However I prefer the idea to use it with the positioning pegs. Also I have some projects waiting for the new 3D printer in our office, that will be available for employees in a couple of weeks. I need to print a similar adapter for a Star for a friend, and my Schick magazine design for the Schick repeating razors.

Hehe, e-bay is full of Enders razors. All black handles. I happily wait until I come across a shiny red version. The most unusual offering is a Schick Type G in an Enders box, titled like "Enders Special Enders Speed Razor Box with Schick Injector Razor Bakelite Handle". In that interpretation I guess handle=razor.

Not as bad as sticking an unmentionable in a MM box.
