Monday's Planned ShaveCold Water Rinse Williams Mug Shaving Soap B-400 by Tom Schick E2b Personna blade CWR Granddad's Blend AS I am giving my face a break from the Green Mountain soaps. I may be too sensitive to it. So, it's Williams to the rescue. I am also evaluating a Schick E2b for a shaver from across the street at TOST. My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Williams Mug Shaving Soap face lathered well with B-400 by Tom brush. I did two passes with the Schick E2b razor with a Personna blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Granddad's Blend AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

I just got done shaving with my new Schick Injector G1 model razor I got from ordinaryshaver and the new synthetic brush I got from jayaruh. The brush lathered well with the Musk shaving cream, and the razor seems to be more efficient than my ''unmentionables''.
Razor: G1 Schick Injector Brush: 24mm Knot Synthetic Brush (jayaruh, correct me if I'm wrong about the knot size of the brush you sent me) Blade: Personna CVS Brand Blade Lather: Musk Shaving Cream
Very enjoyable shaving session and the result is a wonderful excellent BBS shave!

March 18 -- Menthol Monday My first shave SOTD in a while, and my first shave with a relatively new acquisition, the open comb Dammy!!! This was not an easy razor for me to find -- and it was cased to boot. But those who have it swear up and down that it's an outstanding razor, and I know it's only been 1 shave so far -- but I have to say, they are right!!! I had a truly amazing 2-pass plus touch up shave....incredibly comfortable and awesomely close. 1912 Gem Damaskeene (Open Comb) Treet carbon blade (2) | Sterling's MITA | Yaqi 26mm Timberwolf | Krampert's Finest Frostbite Attachments:

Techmatic Tuesday's ShaveCold Water Rinse Green Mountain Lime Vetiver Shaving Soap B-400 by Tom Gillette Techmatic Techmatic Band CWR Granddad's Blend AS Today, I revisited the famous Gillette Techmatic band razor. I first used one of these back in the 60s. I was not impressed with it then. However, today's shave was as good as it gets. Technique trumps tools. In the 60s, I had the tools but not the technique. There you go... I really did not know what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised with this shave. My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Green Mountain Lime Vetiver Shaving Soap face lathered well with B-400 by Tom brush. I did two passes with the Gillette Techmatic razor with a Techmatic Band SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Granddad's Blend AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
