SE Sunday's Shave Cold Water Rinse Proraso Sandalwood Jayaruh #313 C.V. Heljestrand Heljestrand wedge CWR Pinaud Clubman My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Proraso Sandalwood Shaving Soap face lathered well with Jayaruh #313 mixed 70/30 badger/boar brush. I did two passes with the C.V. Heljestrand Lather Catcher razor with a Heljestrand wedge blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Pinaud Clubman AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

I will be sure to catch some flak for this shave picture, but who cares. I like this stuff, and it is easy to use! Talk about a great menthol kick as well!

Sunday Morning Shave Had to get an OC Dammy in after seeing Birds. Razor: OC Damaskeene Blade: Gem CS Brush: Rubberset 59-3 Soap: Vintage Colgate AS: Wood by KleanSpa Very nice Sunday shave with the OC. ENJOY YOUR DAY! Tom Wow!! You know, lately we have been witnessing a sort of renaisance of the OC Dammys on the various SOTD forums. I'd like to go on record as stating how much I dig it! These shavers had practically dissappeared except in collections...Now seeing them in circulation and being used, is good on so many levels. With the OC D's I'm sure St TW's generousity is in no small part, an influence...But there is a larger issue here.... TOSTer's digging Lather Catchers, Auto-Strops, then Dammys and so on and so forth...These popular chapters and phases within TOST has made a difference and significantly help Beautify SOTD threads everywhere!!! This in turn sparks an interest in these beauties with folks who are not aficionatos...and the end result is in, enriching peoples lives by helping them discover better shaves....Viva TOST!!!...Sharing through example...

In keeping with the OC Damaskeene theme, I'm trying out this one for the first time. Old school all the way with the B&M soap, Pinauds and the NOS Century brush I found (still has some animal scent!). This is probably the mildest GEM of the 1912 family I've ever used. Gotta love the feedback, though. 'Scritch, scritch, swoosh, swoosh'. The sound changes as the hair disappears. Thanks St. TW!

Normale, I am not some fan of barbershop scent, but B&M Seville is something different. Really nice scent! BTW is every Type H Hussey, or this H2 is just Debbs?
