Tabac Tuesday's ShaveCold Water Rinse Tabac Shaving Soap Jayaruh #340 Badger Dad's Schick E3 Personna Injector CWR Tabac AS My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Tabac Shaving Soap face lathered well with Jayaruh #340 Badger brush. I did two passes with Dad's Schick E3 razor with a Personna Injector blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

April 2nd Great shave this morning. The irritation from yesterday's shave still lingered, but even with that, a light touch 2-pass shave with a slight touch-up and a hearty splash of Krampert's Finest Bay Rum left me comfortable and smooth! Here are the details: GEM 1912 with GEM SS PTFE blade | RazoRock XL Beehive (28mm) | Men's Soap Company Bay Rum | Krampert's Finest Acadian Spice Bay Rum

TABAC TUESDAY Razor: Diamond Edge Shapleigh Hardware Blade: De-spined Gem SS with some shim to hold tight Brush: GarnerPW XV Horse Hair Soap Tabac AS: Tabac Thought I would start using my lesser known razors. This little guy is very aggressive. Great blade feel so you can work this razor. The Garner Brush performs excellent. It is my only True Horse Hair. It is on the floppy side but whips up a great face lather Have a great second half of the week. Tom

Tue 2nd April Omega 11126 boar P & B Spitfire ER !914 - 12 Tooth Gem S/S [ 1 ] P & B Spitfire A/S Splash I missed out the 1914 on the last ER/Gem Rotation for some unknown reason. Though I prefer a longer handle I manage to adapt to the use of this one without any problems. This 1914 has the longer blade stops so holds a blade securely and Shaves very smoothly, and I am able to do precision strokes to get an ultra close finish. This version of the 1914 certainly gives the likes of the 1924/Streamline a run for their money in terms of Shave Quality delivered , and some may prefer it to the other two which are quite aggressive.

This was a blast I have to say. In my NOS Mark Cross I used my usual Schick Proline injector blade, in my well used one half a Supermax BDT DE blade. The latter required two half blades used as shims to fully secure the blade. While I've used the injector blade often, this was a first using a DE blade. It was a very pleasant surprise. The exposed blade tabs didn't bother and the shave was smooth if noisy and extremely close. Even with the two shims the Proline has the edge in rigidity which evidenced itself going ATG on my head with greater ease than the DE blade. It was also able to clean up a wee bit of stubble the Supermax missed on first pass. So I still give the edge to the Proline but in a pinch the DE hack works brilliantly indeed.

Yes I was wondering the same thing. I went searching on line and could not find anything. I would love to see it also. Could be something to keep an eye out for.
