Mon 14th April Jayaruh No67 MWF King Cobra- Kalyon Handle Schick Proline [ 1 ] Puig Quorum A/S Lotion Still on my getting to know you Shaves with the King Cobra. Today with the Kalyon handle and a fresh blade, the start was very good as the combo was smooth and efficient, with the upper face being cleared in a trice. I also found that I was getting a more effective cutting angle around the neck, which resulted in a better finish in that area. Overall it was probably my best Shave with the KC, and despite its apparent size I am feeling more at home with it.

Tabac Tuesday's ShaveCold Water Rinse Tabac Jayaruh #331 Boar Enders Speed Shaver Enders Speed Blade CWR Tabac AS My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Tabac Shave Soap face lathered well with Jayaruh #331 Boar brush. I did two passes with the Enders Speed Shaver razor with an Enders Speed Blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

I give up on SE's. Very rarely do I get a decent shave from them. I figure it's my problem but if they don't work for them, I'm done. Will keep on with injectors cuz they work great for me. Now go enjoy your day folks.

Or Ambassador, or Jewel, or Chromium Razor.... Is it the early or late model? I have both and find no difference in the shave. I have several from both generations. I find the 30s models have a bit more blade feel, but otherwise, identical shaves.

April 16th As birdlives has pointed out, today was a special day for Ever-Ready Lather Catchers -- so I took the 2 I own (hadn't gotten around to using....yeah, I know, criminal) and took them both for a shave today. It was an extremely close 3-pass shave -- mostly because I was having so much fun that I couldn't stop shaving. It cost me a wee-bit of irritation on my lower neck, but it was worth it and both were great shavers! I'm not great at figuring the age/year of these 2; if anyone has thoughts, please share. Click here for more pics of both, if that helps. The setup: Ever-Ready with black handle (curly metal work) and Ever-Ready with metal handle (E & R metal work) | Haslinger's Schafmilch | Razorock Beehive | Krampert's Fines Bay Rum

Tue 17th April. RazoRock Syn.22mm Lea Classic soap ES Claymore V1 / Ikon Bulldog 11 handle Schick Proline [ 1 ] Lea Classic A/S Lotion I am getting a bit worried by the amount of good trouble free Shaves that I am getting these days, something must go awry soon. With a fresh blade the hefty Claymore was a pleasure to use, besides being smooth and comfortable the Shave finish was excellent.
