I had a great shave today with the ER 1909 with a vintage Gem Cutlery blade. It shows loading the blade and stropping the blade. This is my biggest video production to date. Another great video Jim! Great vid Sir Jay....with one of the Greatest All-Time Classics! Bravo!!!

MMOC Pella EverReady 100 Williams CVS Witch Hazel
Ben using only Williams for the last 4 months. As much as I love Williams I will be glad if I’m able to pick up a couple of pucks of something else this Saturday. I wouldn’t mind something limeish for summer mornings and maybe something jasminnish for summer nights. Anyway the MMOC never fails to amaze me. This one is almost a hundred years old and still performs perfectly. Folks are probably sick of hearing me say this but to me, the MM line of razors are engineering marvels of the highest quality. As long as I am able to get good blades I will continue to use them. Maybe I’ll start looking for another Flying Wing.

If you want scented, then just add scent to the Williams....its not classified as molesting the Williams as far as i know.

Mon 22nd April RazoRock Syn. 22mm Vitos Super Red Supply SE V1 + V2 No3 plate Schick Chick [7] Massimo Dutti A/S Lotion I can confirm that when a V2 No3 plate is fitted to a V1 body, it transforms an overly mild Razor into one that works for me. I have a tough beard and I could barely get a Shave out of the original at all, now I can get a smooth comfortable Shave. Today I was quite pleased that with a bit of extra polishing up work the quality of finish was more than acceptable.

Tabac Tuesday's ShaveCold Water Rinse Tabac Jayaruh #343 Synthetic Ever-Ready 1909 Vintage Gem Cutlery SE CWR Tabac AS My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Tabac Shave Soap face lathered well with Jayaruh #343 Synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Ever-Ready 1909 razor with a Vintage Gem Cutlery SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Got it done with my new Gem Junior. What a great shave. Mild and efficient. I can go ATG on my upper lip with this razor. Very few do that for me and this one seemed easy to do it with. Razor: Gem Junior Brush: Muhle Travel Soap: La Savonnerie Bourbonnaise sample. My first time out with it as well. The lather fell apart, but the slickery was still there. It's probably a bit like Williams with a little learning curve. AS: Avon Spicy
