Hello All, I am wondering if any of you all have any suggestions for a fragrance free aftershave? My son-in-law has a severe algery to fragrances and so shaving before going to visit I need to forgo any both aftershave and anti-prespirant. I have heard. That Witch Hazel works as an aftershave but have never tried it and wouldn't even know where to buy it. So any thoughts?

WH does have a smell, but it disappears shortly. You can get generic WH at Walmart cheap.

Okay, seems that I've got some leads, just out of curiosity what exactly is WH any way? I've heard of it many times, and only knew of it as an aftershave from watching Andy Griffth.

Grain alcohol splash? Maybe with a natural fragrance like lavender or rose water?

I really like Meißner Tremonia Pure. It seems pricey, but is very efficient. Also available as a balm, a shaving soap, and a shaving paste. I have basically not been using anything but these products ever since they hit the market. They are that good.

I just did a shave with fitjar islands cream and used the aftershave cooling gel. I looked up the ingredients and its nothing more than alcohol hand gel with scent added. So theres another no scent option. You can get alcohol hand gel anywhere, cheap.

About 4 years ago I had to find an unscented AS. All I could come up with was one from Japan called "Lucido". It had a very slight smell but it soon went away. I stopped using it because it is really an after shave lotion and hence a little greasy which I do not care for. So Now I mostly use just Witch Hazel. I do miss the scents though!

What about Thayers WH? Could you use like the Rose or Peach? It dissappears as fast as the regular WH smell does.
