I will try again. That was my first shave with it, so pilot error could very well be the cause. I have read that you have to hold it so the head is almost flat on your face. Give that a try. We shall see. Either tomorrow or the next day.

The verdict is in. I call the 1912 ever ready aggressive.

The verdict is in. I call the 1912 ever ready aggressive. What happened? I did another shave on my channel with it. Same results. As far as Im concerned, that is an aggressive razor. Not a bad one. But for sure has lots of blade gap and is very easy to cut yourself without being careful. My wedge single edge razors aren't even that bad.

When I saw what you posted here I checked your channel. I left a comment as well. Remember what Fuzzy says a razor is a razor and a blade is a blade. Angle and pressure. I am looking forward to trying many SE razors and finding my favorite. Schick injectors seem like the most practical so far. Will need to buy one soon.

Are you sure it's a 1912? Are both of the blade stops intact?
Mine wouldn't bite if I cussed at 'em!

Could any one with a caliper measure their 1912? Dan can do that as well?

Guess I'll have to. (I hate shaving videos) Blade exposure is more meaningful than blade gap, and the only true measure of a razor the shave.

Ive shaved with the MMOC, MMCP, MMFW, and none are as harsh as that 1912. How would you guys rate it compared to those razors?

Could any one with a caliper measure their 1912? Dan can do that as well? I wouldn't trust a caliper measurement because of the uneven bar and teeth. A feeler gauge would be much more reliable.
