Thank you for identifying it. So it is not a G1. If anyone can identify it for me that would be good. Fuzzy is right...it is NOT a G1....It is an E4 made in Canada. This a GREAT shavers, congratulations... I'd spray it with "Scrubbing Bubbles" and scrub it with a tooth brush and use tooth paste aswell on the head...Swish just the head in isopropil alcohol if you want to disinfect it and don't have any Barbesol. Don't soak it though and wipe off the handle immediately. Congrats, you are the proud new father of a bouncing baby E type!! 😍😘😎 Agreed on this method. The alcohol will disinfect. Scrubbing bubbles works great too!

Fuzzy is right, the E3's are when they added the parrallel guard bar grooves...But it appears yours doesn't have the flaps on the round spring loop. They dropped those with the E4s. These are GREAT shavers, congratulations... I'd spray it with "Scrubbing Bubbles" and scrub it with a tooth brush and use tooth paste (with whiteners) aswell on the head...Swish just the head in isopropil alcohol if you want to disinfect it and don't have any Barbesol. Don't soak it though, and wipe off the handle immediately. Congrats, you are the proud new father of a bouncing baby E type!! 😍😘😎 Thank you! I will have to invest in a barber jar for barbicide. I hope it works for me. Another question what blades do I use? And what do I do to make sure it is shaving right?

Andrew's Shave Shop/Etsy: www.etsy.com/shop/AndrewShaveShopI use both the Proline B-20's and Those Personna Injector Blades... also the Chinese Schick blades from Amazon.com... all these blades are great! The Personnas are the least expensive and in your E4...should be great...The Prolines are a gourmet super sharp blade that I like mainly for my milder injector razors like my I2... And the Schicks on Amazon are the Chinese ones, they are great in E types too, because they are so smooth...they help tame the early E2 that opens...lol! But in your E4...all of those should do great..

Also....if you order the Personnas from Andrew....I love those BTW... Some folks cry about those plastic blade injectors coming apart and spilling blades everywhere.
I've NEVER had that happen! Just be cool...hold the dispenser in your right hand with your thumb on top and your other fingers underneath and squeeze the metal top to the plastic bottom when you insert the key into your razor.
No problem...just don't gorilla the dispenser while racking in a blade and you should NEVER have a problem either.
The Chinese Schick blades from Amazon come in an all metal dispenser...You can gorilla those if you want🤣😂
The Proline B-20's come in a dispenser that doesn't have a key. So you need to take a blade from it and put it into a dispenser that does have a key, in order to load it into your razor...
Sounds complicated but it isn't...Its veddy easy and makes sense. But you need to get either the Personnas or the Schick blades from Amazon first so you have a dispenser with a key.

I looked at Andrew's shop and I might be getting a few things there. 3 dollars for 10 Gem blades seem like a deal to me and 7 for 20 injector blades is good. What is the shipping do you know?
