Great to see another Shick saved from early retirement. I have a beauty that Jim rehandled with Louisville slugger scraps that I will cherish forever. Yes, we as a forum are very lucky to benefit from skilled members like Jim.

Williams Wednesday- 15th May Simpson Chubby 1 / Maggards 2Band Williams Mug Soap ATT SE1 / Windrose Handle Feather Pro [ 4 ] Williams Aqua Velva A/S Lotion Though it may appear to some to be on the hefty side, I find the Razor/Handle to work well for me. I can use the weight and avoid the use of pressure and have the smoothest of Shaves, with a great close finish. I enjoyed the outing so much, a repeat using a cream is on the cards.

Thursday's shave Everready shovel head GEM stainless steel blade Everready 300n reknotted with horse hair Reef Point Fugere Santal soap Old Spice aftershave First use with the new knot, also first use of a horse hair brush. Very soft knot with limited backbone...pretty comfortable without any break in. Not sure if I like it, but it works. I also have another in white to try out since my son has put dibbs on this one.
