Day late posing Wednesday shave Razor Wilkinson Pall Mall Adjustable Blade: Wilkinson wedge Brush: JR192 Soap: Palmolive AS: VIBR Honed up the 2 blades. They took a great edge as is normal with British Steel. Set roller about mid way and went about the shave. Very nice 3 pass wedge shave. I will try a Gem Blade in the near future.

The roller guard moves forward and back to change aggression. The earlier model does not have this feature. It is fixed.

Last night I take a Schick J2. Last few shaves with it was not good, so I "forget" about it. But it was a more than pleasent suprise! Easy, smooth, efficient. I think maybe reason is that i use Edin Edwin Jagger Hydrating Pre Shave Lotion. I usually don't use any pre thing, but I got sample and says - why not! Menthol kick from it goes so well with rosemary and lavander from the soap. I finished all with Grooming Dept Rejuvenating serum lavander for one perfect shave!

Thur 16th May. Cyril Salter / Maseto ED. 2 Band L`Occitane Cade cream ATT SE1 / Windrose handle Feather Pro [ 5 ] Puig Quorum A/S Lotion I chose to use the ATT again after an enjoyable Shave yesterday. I used a a Cream for a change, and the Shave was really smooth, and there were no problems getting an excellent close all round finish.

First SE shave in the books. That was pretty cool. I was very careful with pressure and angle, but still need to work on technique. No bleeding or visible irritation. But I really felt the alum this time. Probably twice as much sting as usual. I love how close the passes are with this razor. Very efficient. Gem junior 1912 Gem blade Band aids used: none Attachments:

Most of these vintage SE Razor's were designed to be used with the cap flat against your skin (or very close to it). Also some people say that the first shave on a stainless blade can be a little rough. Several people, myself included, will palm stop the blade prior to it's first use to get rid of that roughness. Happy shaving!

Hadn't used the Plisson brush for a llllooonnnggg time and that's a shame. Really works well and feels good to me. Made a ton of nice, creamy lather. Got a great shave and my face is happy. Now go enjoy your day folks.
