SE Sunday's Morning TOST Shave Cold Water Rinse Morning TOST Jayaruh #340 Badger Superior Lather Catcher Gem Blue Star CS CWR Aqua Velva Musk AS My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Morning TOST Shave Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #340 badger brush. I did two passes with the Superior Lather Catcher razor with a Gem Blue Star CS blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Aqua Velva Musk AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Hi all -- I'm a little late to the group shave party, but here's my TOST SOTD: (click here)Last time I did a standard lather for me -- which is pretty much a Fuzzy'esque lather. Today I tried and successfully got the "Santa Beard" - "Butter Cream Cake Icing" lather. The soap lathered easily for me -- I did follow the instructions others had posted -- and the shave was fabulous. Honestly, I'm just not a thick-lather guy....once my face is covered, I'm reaching for a razor....and that totally works for me. Really enjoyed the soap, and while I don't typically double-post a photo, this is a nice group shot of the daily-double shave I did (click the link above more details).

I want some razors like that. I had some trouble making lather but I fixed it all and got some great lather with a 10 second load and working it on my face. Nice thick and creamy. However in the brush not much lather in it but I would put some water on the brush and work it more and got some good lather. Nice scent as well. Next shave I will post picture.

Wednesday 12th June Alpha ‘Outlaw’ - The Original Safety Two LE 'Morning TOST' - Schick G1 - Schick Proline B #2 - Alum - Irisch Moos A/S - Dove Nourishing Cream I'm liking the scent on this soap. It reminds me of my mother's ginger marmalade she made way back in the 60's/70's.
