Schick E3 razor Personna blade Omega 10066 boar brush Morning TOST SS Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe M&L Florida Water cologne
Hmmmm, not sure of today's shave. The Morning TOST SS smells great, seemed to lather very well but not sure if the blade is done or my water/soap ratio wasn't right or what. Will try again tomorrow with a new blade and see what happens

5/21/2019 Evening Shave
Schick “E” Injector Chick Blade Vulfix # 1 Boar Brush Derby Lemon Cream Kroeger Witch Hazel
Was able to get away and spend the afternoon in the desert. The temperature has been unusually low here (mid 70s) so I took advantage of it to stroll around the Verde River. Even though it was cool I was still dusty and dry when I got home so I cooled off with a lemon shave. Derby is an inexpensive cream but if you spend time working it it will be plenty creamy and slick. The Schick worked great as usual. Just for the heck of it I stuck the plastic bottle of witch hazel in the freezer prior to splashing it on. It was nicely refreshing when I splashed it on.

Tue 21st May RazoRock Syn. 22mm Arran Aromatics -Bay citrus ER !924/ Windrose handle Gem S/S [ 5 ] Jaguar Prestige A/S lotion Just started to use the soap bit more and find that it provides a good lightly scented lather. The lather works well with the Razor/Blade combo and the Shave was very smooth and comfortable, with the usual 1924 type close finish.

Wednesday 22nd May Cold Water Shave Heno de Pravia Glycerine Soap Williams Mug Shavig Soap Omega 20102 Boar Brush Schick E2 (Canadian) with a 'Schick (Chinese) Blade Witch Hazel Palmer's for Men Moisturiser Pinaud Lilac Vegetal First use of an injector for a very long time and my first ever use of the Chinese made Schick Blade.. It is a pity they are so expensive to obtain in the UK. That was an absolute 'cracker' of a shave. 3 smooth passes for a perfect finish:)

Williams Wednesday's ShaveCold Water Rinse Williams Mug Shave Soap Oscar11 Synthetic TNNSER Gem Blue Star CS CWR Barbasol Brisk My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Williams Mug Shave Soap face lathered well with the Oscar11 Synthetic brush. I did two passes with the TNNSER razor with a Gem Blue Star CS blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Barbasol Brisk AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Switching blades in the Ever-Ready SE after 15 uses, now it was perfect. It took me a while to recognize why the past 2 shaves were a bit off. I use more razors in the rotation, all SEs, it makes you forget to swap blades once in a while.

No matter how GREAT a shave I get from some of my favorite whisker whackers...my wife will walk by and feel my face and say, "Very nice" or..."Pretty Good...except for that tiny spot on your right Jaw-line" or something like that...maybe, "ahhh, almost perfect!!" She's tough, I tell ya!! EXCEPT..whenever I use this guy! And I can't fool her...Even if I thought the shave was off for some reason. EVERYTIME, she's like "Thats It!! Thats as good as it gets!!" This isn't going to move any of my top tier out...but I do know to use it, when I want rave reviews from the Misses😎

Wed 22nd May RazoRock Syn. 22mm Williams Mug Soap ER 1914 Gem S/S [ 3 ] Williams Aqua Velva A/S Lotion Another ER Shave with what many rate as a very good alternative to the 1912. Despite the short handle I adapt to that and find it very manoeuvrable, and it shaves very smoothly. Though not as aggressive as the 1924 it still delivers a great close all round finish without any fuss.
