June 10th -- Awesome SOTDI have some friends who like to celebrate GEMonday, but I also didn't want to put away my Hussy -- the solution was obvious: The 1904ish GEM Latcher Catcher (sporting a jayaruh handle) with a SS PTFE (3) took the first 2 passes and while I could've stopped their and been very pleased, I moved on to the 1947ish Eversharp-Schick Fashion Razor ("Hussy") with a Chick blade (of course) and did a clean-up pass that brought me a super smooth finish. The soap was the most excellent TOST Limited Edition soap (Lime, Ginger, Bergamot), and the brush was a 28mm Plissoft RazoRock Beehive. The whole experience was crowned by my absolute favorite aftershave, Krampert's Finest Acadian Spice Bay Rum. It truly was a great day in my shaving den!!!

Very early flight to Cambodia in the morning, so a night shave with the newly arrived Schick D with a Proline blade . I knew I was going to like this thing and I do. Shave quality near perfect -- smoother thsn my Es, Injecto-Matic, and the Enders, without any obvious hit in efficiency. The only issue is the grip is a bit awkward, when I'm flying blind on the head shave it's hard to tell by feel which way the razor is oriented. Will take some practice. Not a cheap acquisition but very well worth it.

Mon 10th June RazoRock Syn.24mm Speick Active soap Alu.General / Claymore handle Schick Proline [ 3 ] Pitralon Original A/S Lotion With an excellent lather from the Speick, the nicely weighted Alu.General shave very smoothly. Perhaps one of the best Shaves I have had so far with this Razor, very relaxing with a superb finish.

Tabac Tuesday's ShaveCold Water Rinse Tabac Shave Soap Jayaruh #273 Synthetic AutoStrop A1 Valet AutoStrop CWR Tabac I stropped the blade before and after the shave. My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Tabac Shave Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #273 Synthetic brush. I did two passes with the AutoStrop A1 razor with a Valet AutoStrop blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave with no irritation. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Gem MM Clog Pruf razor Gem Stainless blade Fine Classic Synthetic brush Morning TOST Shave Soap Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe M&L Florida Water cologne w/added menthol
Simply put, a pretty horrible shave this morning. The soap wouldn't give a decent lather no matter what I tried and the razor felt like broken glass. Why I continued it is the question. To stubborn to give up I guess. My face is NOT happy. Now go enjoy your day folks

Tue 11th June Jayaruh Syn. No67 Tabac soap Alu. Hawk V1 / Windrose handle Schick Proline [ 4 ] Tabac A/S Lotion Rather like the Alu. General I find the Hawk to perform much better with a heavier handle. With a rich creamy lather from the Tabac I hardly felt the Razor as it cleared away the whiskers almost featherlike. Actually the finish quality is superior to the one delivered by the General yesterday. This little inexpensive Razor gives some of its costly rivals a run for their money.
