Menthol Monday's ShaveThe AutoStrop Adventure Continues
Cold Water Rinse Eskimo Tuxedo Jayaruh #367 Badger/Boar AutoStrop B1 Valet AutoStrop (6) CWR Osage Rub
My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Eskimo Tuxedo Shave Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #367 Badger/Boar brush. I did two passes with the AutoStrop B1 razor with a Valet AutoStrop blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

June 17th -- An AutoStrop & Friend (Clog-Pruf)
Went for a Daily-Double shave today to recognize Micromatic-Monday with my Clog-Pruf and to keep using my AutoStrop B2. First and third pass went to the Clog-Pruf, second and quick-touch-up went to the AutoStrop. The AutoStrop was sporting a de-spined GEM SS PTFE on its 2nd shave, and the Clog-Pruf was on its 5th shave. The supporting cast was the Yaqi 24mm Moka synth, Palmolive cream and Krampert's Finest Frostbite. It was a truly an excellent shave.

Shame they don't sell it as such in the U.S. It's a brand that doesn't get much play here any longer aside from dish washing liquid. I did find Palmolive bar soap at Dollar Tree and bought a bar. It's good.

Mon 17th June Omega 11137 boar MWF ER 1924 / Windrose handle Gem S/S [ 6 ] Jaguar Prestige A/S lotion The rather careworn ER 1924 coupled with a S/S handle is quite smooth and efficient, and delivers a good quality Shave without any problems.

Tuesday 18th June Yaqi Moka Mew Brown - OSP Sandalwood - PAL Injectomatic - Personna Stainless #1 - Alum - Old Spice A/S - Dove Nourishing Cream For my first ever shave with the Pal I decided to use a Personna blade from the mag that came with the razor. Pleased I did as I got a great, smooth result. I'll continue with this combination to see how it performs over the next few shaves.

Morning TOST Tuesday Razor Gem Featherweight - at least I think that is what this is. Correct me if I'm wrong. It only says GEM and made in USA on it. Blade - CVS Soap - Morning TOST Brush - Vie Long Horse AS - Clubman original I might add, it's been awhile since I used this. I got this right after my Gem Junior, but the first use with this seemed much rougher than the junior so I tended to use the Junior more. But since a blade is a blade and a razor is a razor - now where have I heard that before? I decided to get back on the horse. Not sure what changed but this thing was a nice mild shave today. Much more like my Gem Junior. Maybe it's trying to get on my good side Oh, and jayaruh, you'll notice what the handle of the brush if made of. Sooner or later, I'll be talking to you. I really like this style of handle and might want a synthetic with that style of handle.

It's a Featherweight Deluxe to be accurate, basically a regular Featherweight with a sprayed on gold colored finish and that gold colored thingy on the end of the handle.
