TOST Thursday's ShaveCold Water Rinse Morning TOST Shaving Soap Jayaruh #375 Synthetic Valet VB2 Valet AutoStrop (24) CWR Dove Men+Care Post Shave Balm My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Morning TOST Shaving Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #375 Synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Valet VB2 razor with a Valet AutoStrop blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Dove Men+Care Post Shave Balm. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed... How is that blade holding up? I was backing off on the stropping, and that made it a bit tuggy. I stropped it more and it was better today. I am getting a very good two pass shave from it. Tomorrow, it will be the 24th shave. As long as I don't slack off on the stropping, I don't see why I can't get to 42 shaves.

Thur 11th July RazoRock Syn.24mm P & B Pall Mall Schick Type F Schick-"Chick" [ 3 ] Floid Vigoroso A/S Lotion Another Shave with an early Schick, this time the rather tactile Type F which feels so good in the hand. Unlike the B1 used yesterday the F is quite mild, but without any problems delivers a Shave with a nice close all round finish.

ER 1909 Gem PTFE ER 100s Stirling Baker Street Using the 1909 for the first time and a great shave. Smooth with just enough blade feel for a nice close finnish. I used an injector blade to secure the Gem blade, as advised on TOST, and it works great.

Fri 12th July The Grosvenor [ 404 ]- mixed Vitos Super Red Supply Se-V1 / V2No3 plate Schick-Chick [ 4 ] Pitralon Original A/S Lotion A quick switch to a modern Injector after using early versionns [ B1 & F]. Though fitted with the most aggressive plate it still feels mild to me, but shaves very smoothly and Ihave no problems getting a close all round finish.
