I have to agree with all the shavers I see singing the Schick E2 praises, these days. I appreciate this razor more than ever... Todays shave was a Williams Day, as most are these days in my cave!! And the razor was a WW2 military issued E2...The soldiers who were issued these were lucky indeed. I know my Pop was, and he said he considered himself lucky to be issued the Schick. Great Shaves, everyone!!!

Missed yesterday's shave and in my haste this morning grabbed a 2 sided thingy. I will say 100 Hail Marys and use my Gem Gbar next face shave . For even more pennance I will then use my FW for my head shave . With Williams of course. Hope that will put me in good graces again. Have a great day guys .

Williams Wednesday's ShaveCold Water Rinse Williams Mug Shaving Soap Tom's 3D Printed Brush Enders Speed Shaver Schick Proline CWR Aqua Velva Blue Ice AS My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Williams Mug Shaving Soap face lathered well with Tom's 3D Printed Brush. I did two passes with the Enders Speed Shaver razor with a Schick Proline SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Aqua Velva Blue Ice AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed... I must say, this may be my new favorite razor/blade combo. This was a most excellent shaving experience.

You are doing well, my friend. I called it quits today. The last two shaves were not good ones. I had to finish off with my Enders. However, it was a fun challenge. Twenty-five pretty good shaves from one blade is still an acceptable run, although starting to get boring. I am glad to move on. They also recommended stropping paste. Anyone tried chrome ox on it yet? Bet that would get the 42 shaves.

July 17 -- Wonderful Williams WednesdayThis was one of those SOTD's that feels like it could be a SOTW or even SOTM. It was my first time shaving with my new-to-me Schick Type A. I got it at...well, never mind where I got it....the point is it's amazing!!! It is definitely not a show-piece, and it is missing the innards for loading a blade the way the Colonel had intended; but it was super easy to hand-load with a Proline B-20 blade and then it was off to the races. I'll ultimately put a longer review in the Schick area after a few more shaves, this was JUST my first shave, but it really was a REALLY nice shave. 2-passes plus a super light touch-up and my face is smoooooth. Here are the details: Schick Type A with Proline B-20 (1) | Modern Williams (of course) | Yaqi 26mm Timberwolf | Krampert's Best Frostbite

Wed 17th July The Grosvenor [ 404 ] mixed Williams Mug soap King Cobra Schick Proline [ 4 ] Tuff Green A/S Lotion It yould seem that I have finally mastered the KC, as the Shave was very enjoyable. The only are where I felt it might bite was around the tip of the chin. I am very pleased with the quality of the finished Shave, without doubt the best so far with the KC, since fitting it with the Kalyon handle.

Thursday 18th July Pears Glycerine Soap Palmolive Shave Stick VIG Shaving 24mm Pure Badger Brush Schick E2 (Canadian) with a Schick Blade Witch Hazel Palmer's for Men Moisturiser Blue Stratos AS An excellent 'utilitarian' shave. I say that only because I grew up with Palmolive and familiarity often breeds contempt. 3 passes for a face feeling finish.
