Thur 18th July Jayaruh No67 Tabac stick ES Claymore V1 / Ikon Bulldog11 handle Schick Proline [5 ] Tabac A/S Lotion Yet another good shave with an AC/SE Razor. The one thing they have in common is the Blade, as all those used are fitted with a Schick Proline Type P. For me this blade works very well in all myRazors, it is very forgiving and delivers good close Shaves without any problems.

Friday's ShaveCold Water Rinse CTAPT Shaving Cream Tom's 3D Printed Brush Enders Speed Shaver Schick Proline CWR Aqua Velva Blue Ice AS My prep was just a cold water rinse. The CTAPT Shaving Cream face lathered well with Tom's 3D Printed Brush. I did two passes with the Enders Speed Shaver razor with a Schick Proline blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Aqua Velva Blue Ice AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

July 19, 2019Today was shave #2 with the Magazine Repeating Razor (aka Schick Type A), and it was even better than the first one....which isn't too much of a surprise (the 2nd shave is often better than the first with a new-to-me razor), but the first shave was REALLY nice. This second shave was outstanding!!! Super close after 2 passes -- and I only had to touch-up a couple of spots. I had also introduced another new-to-me product (LEA Professional Shaving Cream). I've been on a tube-cream kick, and I recently found this inexpensive cream from Spain (along with the menthol version) while purchasing some other items and threw them both into the cart. The tube is HUGE, and it requires only a small amount to get a nice slick lather, and I really like that European soapy, clean scent! So to sum up, I had another truly excellent shave with the Type A. I'll admit that I thought it was just going to be one of those barely-used-but-great-collectible razors; and now I can't imagine putting it away....so expect to see it a few more times (at least)! Schick Type A with Proline B20 (2) | LEA Professional Shaving Cream | Yaqi 26mm Faux Horse "Rainbow" | Thayer's Witch Hazel (I was so impressed with my shave that I totally forgot my Krampert's -- but I'll splash on some Krampert's Finest Acadian Spice Bay Rum before going out today!

I love this razor design....whew!!! How does it shave? My money would bet awesome, like most Schicks...and "To Cool For School"! And thanks for sharing these priceless looks into the little seen World of Schick Prototypes.... Thanks Lloyd, effortless BBS like most Schicks. The head angle is a bit different though. Here were some thoughts I posted on a different thread: Interesting shave with this razor. It has a keyless Injector cartridge inside the handle (which I cross-loaded the Proline into). On the underside of the head it has a hook that increases in thickness toward the middle of the hook. When the head is in the shaving position the hook puts pressure on the back of the blade. When injecting a blade the new blade is inserted a few mm back from the blade stops. Then when you rotate the head into the shaving position the hook pushes the blade forward up to the stops. The way the head is angled it keeps the handle almost parallel to the surface you are shaving. Like most Injector shaves, once I found the correct angle, the shave was pretty effortless and ended up pretty close to BBS.
