Thanks Lloyd, effortless BBS like most Schicks. The head angle is a bit different though. Here were some thoughts I posted on a different thread: Interesting shave with this razor. It has a keyless Injector cartridge inside the handle (which I cross-loaded the Proline into). On the underside of the head it has a hook that increases in thickness toward the middle of the hook. When the head is in the shaving position the hook puts pressure on the back of the blade. When injecting a blade the new blade is inserted a few mm back from the blade stops. Then when you rotate the head into the shaving position the hook pushes the blade forward up to the stops. The way the head is angled it keeps the handle almost parallel to the surface you are shaving. Like most Injector shaves, once I found the correct angle, the shave was pretty effortless and ended up pretty close to BBS. Thanks for the quick review....This would be a great razor to have been offered in Schicks line-up!

Fri 19th July RazoRock Syn. 22mm L`Occitane Cade soap Mongoose B3 Feather Pro [ 5 ] Pitralon Polar A/S Lotion Using a Feather Blade rather than my favoured Proline, and had a really good close Shave. Overall experience spoilt by me moving the Razor between strokes so that it caught the surface of the skin causing a weeper, a just reward for inattention.

50th Anniversary Apollo 11 Lunar Landing and First Steps on the Moon ShaveBrings back memories as a 12 year old sitting in front of the TV in utter amazement and terror at the same time watching history unfold. I didn't know what a Gillette Techmatic was back then or that the razor went into space with the Apollo mission, but that's what I used today with a sample puck of Stirling Bay Rum and Florida Water for the aftershave.

July 20th -- 3rd shave with the Magazine Repeating Razor (Schick Type A), and I'm still in awe of how well it performs. It was also my first time with Tabac cream (I'm a huge fan of the soap)....I'm not sure everything is/was hunky-dory with that tube, but I'll post something up in the Shaving Soap/Cream area later on that. Ultimately I got a decent lather and frankly my trusty Schick didn't really give a hoot, it still gave me a Darn Fine Shave in 2 passes and a slight Witch Hazel touch-up. I love my other Schick's but this Type A is turning out to be my absolute favorite -- something about the handle, the weight, the head alignment....I don't know, but I shave with this razor like I've used it all my life. Here are the details: Magazine Repeating Razor with Proline B20 (3) | Tabac Cream | RazoRock Plissoft Beehive 28mm | Thayers Witch Hazel | Krampert's Finest FrostBite

Sat 20th / Sun 21st July. The Grosvenor [ Vulfix 404 ]- mixed Vitos Super Red Occams V2- No2 plate Schick Proline [ 4 & 5 ] Jaguar Prestige A/S Lotion As out early yesterday and away for the day, I decided to do a repeat Shave today. I know this Razor has been likened to a Potato Peeler because of its handle. However, for me with quite small hands that handle provides a variable grip which makes it extremely manoeuvrable. I find that it is great for working against the grain and around the awkward parts of the neck. Both Shaves extremely smooth and comfortable, with a quality of finish that rivals any of my other AC/SE Razors. The Occams is a real surprise to me especially as it was a spur of the moment purchase. For those who are put off by the weight of many AC/SEs this a good Razor to try, IMHO beats the Alu.General and Hawk by a long way.

SE Sunday's ShaveCold Water Rinse CTAPT Shaving Cream Tom's 3D Printed Brush Henckels Rapide Vintage Gem Cutlery SE CWR Aqua Velva Blue Ice AS My prep was just a cold water rinse. The CTAPT Shaving Cream face lathered well with Tom's 3D Printed Brush. I did two passes with the Henckels Rapide razor with a Vintage Gem Cutlery SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Aqua Velva Blue Ice AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
