Just received these today of of EBay I have been looking for an Ever Ready Combination set for quite a while. Finally found one with a bunch more goodies. Also included in this purchase were a Shave mug, Shave scuttle and a bunch of very old unopened unmentionable blades from the king Looks like the 2 ER razors will clean up nicely. The strop is in really nice shape very pliable still

I had a good day. Not only did I go and see one of the largest vintage razor collection in the world (thousands!!), I also swapped one of my razors for an unusual, yet - alas! - unmentionable razor and ... ... a boxed Schick Type A with blades and instructions and... ... a Collins Rotary Wind-up razor. I hope it is mentionable as it is definitely single edge.

I picked up a couple of proper razors today here in RI. I got a 1912 Gem and a Gem Bullet Tip with a plastic tip. Then I went by the CVS and picked up some SE blades. Tomorrow shoule be an awesome shave.

I've only got a half dozen of the models, but if forced to choose my favorite, the Type A (the first Magazine Repeating Razor) would be my choice hands-down....and that's over some stiff competition (B3, E3, H1, L1, K2, N2). Congratulations!!!

I scour every antique store, flea market and garage sale I can find when I'm on the road, and I haven't even tripped over an unmentionable. Despite my envious tone, I'm very happy that you found some equipment you can use on the trip!!!

There is a swapmeet the end of this month that I have had good luck at. Let’s see what I can find.

Received today, my recent acquisition. An immaculate cased British Pal Injectomatic with instructions and original NOS Pal blades. It was interesting to see on the blade cart stamped ERP. Which seems to tie in with the info on the leaflet which states Ever Ready Razor Products (Pal Division) UK. I've loaded up one of the blades for a maiden shave.
