SOTD August 19th Stirling Mentholated Pre-Shave Soap EDRIO# 107 Schick J-Twin Prototype #2 Personna Injector blade x2 Paladin Chief ( 26mm, Frigate Class) The Club Acqua Di Florida(Gingers Garden) Stirling Glacial Unscented PSB M&L Florida Water That razor looks just plain weird and unwieldy, two J types fused together like a Siamese twin. How does it shave and are there any more pictures of it floating around here? The other one shaved better. You can see more pictures of the twins as well as the other prototypes and read about how I acquired them here: theshaveden.com/forums/threads/odd-injectors-prototypes.57980/

Andrew, thanks for posting the link....I'm not on TSD (aka "across the street"), and I've been scratching my head wondering about the backstory on these razors. That was an awesome score!!!

Tue 20th Aug. Stirling Syn. 26mm P & B Soitfire Schick I1 Schick Tim-Japan [ 1 ] P & B Spitfire A/S Splash Another Shave with a Twin Blade, this time with an I1.The Shave was very smooth andI had no problems getting an ultra close finish. For those who fancy trying a Twin Blade and prefer a short handled Razor this is a good choice, very nice with a single blade too.

Williams Wednesday's ShaveCold Water Rinse Williams Mug Shaving Soap Jayaruh #206 TNNSER CVS CS CWR English Leather AS My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Williams Mug Shaving Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #206 Brush. I did two passes with the TNNSER razor with a CVS CS SE Blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with English Leather AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

August 21st -- First shave with Norvell-Shapleigh Hardware's safety razor!!! I know twhite has one and there is a dedicated thread, which I'll also post to in a bit. I don't have the original blade for this razor, but it definitely takes a modified GEM (de-spined and slightly shortened). I got a very nice shave (very close and comfortable) after 2 passes and a light-cleanup of the neck/jawline. It reminded me of the Burham, which makes sense given the similarity in designs. Here are the shave details: NSH Razor with modified GEM SS PTFE (7) | JR #270 lathering Men's Soap Co. Bay Rum | Finished with Krampert's Finest Acadian Spice Bay Rum after shave ----- 2 pics so you can see the razor a bit better.

I used a pair of metal snips. I didn't have to take much off at all.
