Star 1912 style razor Gem Stainless blade Vie-Long Silver Tip brush Viking "Citron" Shave Soap Osage Rub/Witch Hazel with aloe/Viking "Citron" balm M&L Florida Water cologne w/added menthol
Mighty fine shave to start the week with. Really like the Viking SS; lathers easily, nice scent and gives great skincare. So, all the parts liked each other and all is well. My face is happy. Now go enjoy your day folks.

Mon 26th August Simpson Chubby 1 / Maggards 2 Band Arran Aromatics Bay Citrus Occams V2 / No3 Plate Feather Proguard [ 2 ] Pitralon Classic A/S Lotion As officiating today I wanted a long lasting Shave. The Occams despite its looks is a very good Razor, and delivers a great Shave every time with no fuss.

Tue 27th August. RazoRock Syn. 22mm Lea Classic soap Personna Stainless Steel Injector Personna S/S [ 8 ] Lea Classic A/S Lotion I have come to like this Futuristic Vintage Injector since I discovered that it works very well with a Personna blade. However, today confirmed that I should have changed the blade- though it was not buggy the finish was below par.

Wednesday 28th August Alpha T400 - LEA stick (Original Tallow) - Pal Injectomatic - Vintage Pal #6 - Alum - Blue Stratos A/S - Aloe Vera Gel The tallow version of LEA marks the end (for the moment) of my stick fest. This shave along with the others have shown me how enjoyable face lathering is using a stick. Especially when the brush knot has good backbone. Today was a good example. I've also been very impressed with the Injectomatic and vintage Pal blade. From being slightly harsh at first, the blade has matured nicely giving consistently smooth, close shaves. Plus it's definitely got more shaves under it's belt. Goodbye stick fest, you won't be the last!!!

Williams Wednesday's ShaveCold Water Rinse Williams Mug Shaving Soap Jayaruh #144 Enders Speed Razor Enders Speed Blade CWR Florida Water My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Williams Mug Shaving Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #144 Brush. I did two passes with the Enders Speed Razor with an Enders Speed Blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Florida Water. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed... The blade was not the smoothest, but it was much better than the first day. Stropping definitely helped. I have one more shave slated with this blade for Friday, then it is bye-bye.

Happy Wednesday everyone. A great shave today. Have to say I forgot it was Wednesday, so for tomorrow will bust out the Williams. In the past I had tried a Grooming Dept soap - the Lavender Mallard, but some ingredient in that soap made me want to get it off my face after about 30 seconds. This time, I backed off and got the unscented seeing that many of the ingredients were different and knowing that some of the natural oils can cause issue. Well I have to say that this soap agrees with me and does a great job. I think tomorrow when I bust out the Williams, I will also use a different razor as well. I've kind of been fixated on this one for awhile, well, because it's excellent for me. But I think I've got a Gem that is calling. The Nancy Boy balm is a free sample I got when I ordered their shave soap.
