They implanted an SE razor? Cool. I'm sure Tom and I can come up with something based on that design. Talk about a one track mind. Very funny. Thanks for all the well wishes. I am not as pretty as usual. The picture is 3 1/2 days growth. I have not looked in a mirror since the accident, so this is my first look at my mug. Looks like I skint my nose, lip and cheek nicely.

It's good to hear from you. As a daily shaver, I can't imagine the last time you had that much beard growth....it'll undoubtedly feel good to shave....or it's only a couple of months to Christmas and everybody loves a Santa Claus beard.

Thanks Patrick. I am actually feeling pretty good today. The pain will return in about 45 minutes, but they have oxycodone for that, and it works pretty quick. The wife remarked about my beard today. She says to not shave it. We shall see. I am looking forward to getting the TNNSERs in my hands and eventually into the hands of the Owners Group. I maybe going to a rehab center for intense rehab. I think that will be best for the wife. She is a strong woman, but I am a 220 pound man. I would love to be about 180. I just wanted to check in. I have really pulled back from the Internet.

That may be the best way to do the therapy and get you back to normal in the shortest amount of time. My mom had a knee replaced and she rested at home. If she gets the other one done, she will go into the nursing home for the period of healing. Dad did his best, but he's 76 and when you can't get around you can need help anytime, it's a lot to ask of someone. They both came to that realization. I'm going to do a cold water shave for my Williams Wednesday. We shall see if I like it as much as you do

My wife has had two knee replacements, and we did home recovery and then rehab visits. It worked well for her. I initially thought I would need a knee replacement, but the trama aspect of my injury changed things. I won't be able to put weight on my leg or eight weeks. I guess I will be staying off ladders. HA!

Hope you are feeling better each day. It goes without saying you are in my prayers and are in a group prayer every Wednesday from here on out.
I think I would ask the nurse to give you a shave right after your sponge bath😁

The best part of yesterday was getting out of the hospital and the 35 mile ride to the rehab in Hendersonville. The worst part was the stay at the rehab. I will not get into that except to say that I am home now. We fired the rehab hospital. I had a very bad night shift experience, and they are not getting a chance to gain my trust again. I will be doing in-home rehab starting tomorrow or Sunday. I did have a very good experience with the rehab people at the facility, but the night shift made me feel sub-human. Glad to be away from them.
That said, John picked me up in my room and wheeled me down to his transport vehicle. I was the only passenger, and the whole trip took about an hour. I found out that he had a friend that was heavily invested into wetshaving like many guys we know. So I talked vintage razors, brushes, and soaps almost the whole way. I also had the opportunity to plug cold water shaving. He has facial hair like Fuzzy, but he shaves with his dad's razor which I shall not mention because it has one too many edges.
Thank you all again for your prayers and support.
Jim

More prayers for your continued recovery!
