Sunday 20th October Pears Glycerine soap Palmolive Shaving Stick Vulfix 'Hyde Park' Badger Brush RazoRock ECO Thayers Witch Hazel with Cucumber Aloe Vera Gel Brut Musk AS A very early start to a very long shift. 2 passes for a 'face feeler' and 17 hours on....it still feels good. Personally I think this razor is medium to aggressive.

Two is better than one. BIC vs Treet. I know nothing about these razors, where is there information about them? It's a single edge razor with built in hone, utilizing standard unmentionable blades. First patented 1943, first sold Christmas 1945. Three versions exist with minor changes to the head and handle. Pictured original model has removable cap and Bakelite handle. This model can use two stacked blades. Second version, likely 1946, has hinged cap and minor changes to the head. Reintroduced with fancier clothes, gold or chrome, for Christmas 1952-Fathers Day 1953 before slipping again into oblivion. Patents, instructions, etc here: drive.google.com/folderview?id=0BylTR_fxv0rzLV9XSHNSTW80SU0Most fullsome thread is here: theshaveden.com/forums/threads/the-shake-sharp-razor.29757/

I'm a huge fan of both the performance and scent of the LEA soap, cream and shave sticks; but it seems like whenever I try the soap-maker's A/S, it doesn't smell anything like the scent they have in their soap....hence the question.

Got a special shave in today. Special because the razor, the brush and the soap were all created and made by members of the TOST forum. Razor TNNSER by twhiteBrush by jayaruhSoap by @vintagelife It was a very nice shave, thank you all for the things you've created and allowed members here to share in. I plan to use this setup for most of my shaves this week so I can dial some things in. The razor is efficient and gave me a great shave. Two weepers I take full responsibility for because this is very light (which I like) but I was throwing it around on my face like I'd used it 1000 times. It just didn't feel like it was going to bite me. Thanks everyone.

Ok today's shave pitted the Mighty Micromatic OC Bumpless version against the newcomer the TNNSER 3D in a knock down drag down match. Both razors against each other, and 6 days growth. The razors shared a new Gem SS PTFE blade. The padding was provided by Mer Shavings Fougere Orange Dunkys Milk soap on Two Band Badger. Proraso white pre shave balm prepared the ring. The TNNSER 3D took the first single stroke pass then the MMOC. And the winner is the TNNSER 3D with a cleaner pass and no nick. Either way I still like the MMOC but the TNNSER 3D is a truly impressive razor. I did the rest of the first pass with the MMOC so it wouldn't feel bad but finished things off with the TNNSER 3D. This razor for me shaves great shallow or steep and doesn't make me pay on blood if I get a bit heavy handed, even on the more sensitive spots on my neck.

Sun 20th Oct. Cyril Salter / Maseto ED. 2band MWF TNNSER 3D Gem S/S [ 4 ] Pitralon Classic A/S Lotion I now have had 4 consecutive with the TNNSER, and apart from Day1 when I was a bit heavy handed and got a sore face all has gone well. I have managed to adapt my technique to this rather light Razor, and am now getting trouble free Shaves with a Top Notch finish every time.Rather a shame that I have to give it back to Arthur @ Elecrif,he really has caused me a dose of RAD.
