Wednesday 23rd October Proraso Sensitive Pre Shave Scottish Fine Soaps Traditional Shaving Soap Jayaruh #128 Synthetic Brush TNNSER 3D razor with a GEM PTFE SS Blade Alum Thayers Witch Hazel with Cucumber Creightons Coconut and Rose Moisturiser Blue Stratos AS I arrived home today to find my TNNSER 3D and Jayaruh Brush. I recently took some time to reacquaint myself with light razors (Bakelite Unmentionables). The razor was more efficient than my Sabre L1 with a finish which I normally only expect from my Classic Cobra......completely and utterly 'Face Feeling BBS'. with only a tingle from the Alum Test. Even after only 1 shave I can say....this razor is amazing

Williams Wed-23rd Oct. Simpson Chubby 1/ Maggards 2band Williams Mug Soap TNNSER 3D Gem S/S [ 7 ] Pitralon Polar A/S Lotion My 7th consecutive and last Shave with the TNNSER as it has to go back to its home with Arthur Electrif. Though the blade started to pull a bit and the Shave took longer than usual, I had no problems getting a close all round finish. This amazing Razor brings out the best in a Gem blade and delivers great Shaves. In fact in terms of finish quality gives my AC/SEs a run for their money. I really appreciate the chance to try this Razor which I thought might be too light for me, I was wrong !! Thanks Arthur for proving me wrong.

I finally got around to my shave at 6PM. I had to make it a TNNSER Day. Cold Water Rinse Proraso Sapone Jayaruh #340 Badger TNNSER 3D Green/Black CVS CS SE CWS PSC Caffeinated After Shave Balm My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Proraso Sapone face lathered well with the Jayaruh #340 Badger Brush. I did two passes and a cleanup with the TNNSER 3D Green/Black razor with a CVS CS SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with PSC Caffeinated After Shave Balm. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

24 October -- First time with a new-to-me Le Coq Lather Catcher. This french lady was not to be trifled with, and she wasn't much of a "lady" with me. I did a two-pass-and-mostly-no-touchup shave (a little something I've been trying....only 2-passes and no touch-up or clean-up pass), and I ended up with a pretty close, sort-of comfortable shave....and some irritation on my lower neck that is so concentrated and red that it can only be described as a hickey (i.e., "a mark caused by a lover biting the skin"). So my technique with this beauty needs work, and I may be a masochist, but I'm looking forward to putting in the time to figuring out how to get a slightly closer more comfortable shave with this razor. I also had to use a plastic wedge-adapter/simulator over a de-spined modern blade (GEM SS PTFE) since I haven't sharpened either of the wedge blades that came with the razor. The other thing to note is the extraordinarily LONG teeth in the comb. The soap was Haslinger Schafmilch lathered with a RazoRock 24mm Plissoft. Here are a few pics:

Thur 24th Oct. RazoRock Syn. 24mm P & B Citra Royale Schick N3 Schick S/S Twin -Japan [ 2 ] Tuff Green A/S Lotion After a week with a TNNSER 3D I went back to an Injector rotation. I made a good choice as the N3 when fitted with a Twin Blade delivers a smooth Shave, with a good close finish not too dissimilar to the ones I have with the TNNSER.
