Mon 4th Nov. RazoRock Syn.24mm P & B Spitfire OccamsV2/ No3 plate Feather Proguard [ 11 ] P & B Spitfire A/S Splash This Shave is a test of blade longevity, which indicates just how good it is for me. The Shave was extremely comfortable, and the guarded blade allows me to work away to clear all stubborn growth without causing any problems of irritation or nicks/cuts.Probably the closest and best finish that I have ever had with a blade on its 11th outing - good for more too.

Tabac Tuesday's ShaveCold Water Rinse Tabac Shave Soap Jayaruh #292 Gem Jr. Bar Lather Catcher CVS CS SE CWR Tabac AS My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Tabac Shave Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #292 Badger Brush. I did two passes and a cleanup with the Gem Jr. Bar Lather Catcher razor with a CVS CS SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

05/11/2019 Pre shave Prep: Pears Original Transparent Brush: Alpha Titanium Outlaw G4 Soap: Tabac Razor: XXXXX Blade: XXXXX Post shave: Alum Block, cold water splash, homemade Witch Hazel astringent Balm: Tabac Aftershave: Tabac EDT / EDC Tabac Tuesday A fine shave today with a new unmentionable set up, 3 passes for an excellent BBS comfortable finish. The Tabac is a firm favourite of mine and everything worked really well together to give me a very slick lather and fantastic post shave. So BBS with a very comfortable finish and smelling very Huggy Bear. Have a great afternoon All.

1912 curved top squat head on Asylum RX handle. I really like the look of that razor on that handle.

Didn't get around to posting yesterday. Just a 1 pass with very light cleanup was needed with the Gem squat head. This is a great razor and I really like the little case. If I actually traveled this would be a great travel razor. And I Love Mer Shavings Fougere Orange.

This mornings shave Razor: Focus Dynamic Blade: Lord - Made in Turkey Soap: La Savonnerie Bourbonnaise Brush: Jayaruh 210 AS: Krampert's Finest Bay Rum Acadian Spice The soap I used is great for this razor. The razor is very mild (inefficient). Any thick lather that gives cushion, is really too much for this razor. The soap is a sample I have. The lather looks like the first Williams lather that dissipates. Well this dissipates too, but like Williams, great slickness. This is the type of soap this razor needs. The TNNSER on the other hand, works for me, with any soap combination I used be it brushless, thin lather or thick. This Focus is fun, but it takes a longer time to get close to the TNNSER results and never quite gets there. I may pick up some KAI blades to try with this as I've heard they are slightly wider, which if true would mean slightly more blade exposure, which I would see as a plus on this razor.

Tuesday 5th November Zenith 507TS - Tabac - RazoRock ECO - ½ Voskhod Teflon Coated - Alum - Tabac A/S - Aloe Vera Gel The end of my run with the ECO from culcreuch. With another blade that worked well. I don't think I'll rush out and buy one. However, I must thank Brian for his generosity.

I get very nice shaves from the focus......for me .....MUCH better than the ECO

Tue 5th Nov. Stirling Syn.30mm Arko Stick - grated Alu. General / Windrose Handle Feather Proguard [ 12 ] Pitralon Original A/S Lotion The end of the line for the Proguard for me, 12 rather good Shaves though on this last one the blade was pulling a bit so was not as comfortable as usual.I am rather pleased at the change of handle on the Alu.General, feels better balanced and is nice in use.
