Thur 14th Nov RazoRock Syn. 22mm Arko Stick-grated Gem Micromatic Gem S/S [ 2 ] Tuff Red A/S Lotion The fearsome reputation of the Original Micromatic is rather undeserved, as once one learns not to rush and use a light touch it delivers quality trouble free Shaves. Up there with my best performing ER/Gem Razors.

Friday's ShaveCold Water Rinse Palmolive Shave Cream Jayaruh #313 Gem Contour CVS CS SE CWR Aqua Velva Musk My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Palmolive Shave Cream face lathered well with the Jayaruh #313 Badger Brush. I did two passes and a cleanup with the Gem Contour razor with a CVS CS SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Aqua Velva Musk AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

15/11/19 Pre: Hot Shower Brush: Yaqi Silver Wolf Mysterious 24mm Soap: Stirling Soap Co. Bay Rum Razor: Mongoose SE B3 Blade: Feather PB (5) Post shave: Alum Block, cold water splash, Homemade Neroli & Orange Witch Hazel Balm: Homemade Bay Rum Argan Oil A/S: DR Harris Bay Rum A very nice shave with the heavyweight Mongoose today, It has been called many bad things in some forums, however, i really like it, the shave angle is very natural for me. Yes the head is large, but then again mine is about the size of a Winter cabbage. Cue ball smooth from 2 passes and some buffing. Smelling and Feeling really good. Mrs Chin has mentioned i am a bit obsessed about shaving at the Mo (Me? - Never ) and i spend a lot of time planning and photographing my next weeks shaves on the weekend. Therefore for a little while at least it will be 1 razor, 1 soap and 2 brushes per week - for now. Have a great weekend All.

Friday 15th November Yaqi Sagrada Familia - Palmolive Stick - Ever Ready Streamline - GEM SSC №9 - Alum - Quorum A/S - Aloe Vera Gel Afraid there's no picture today. But wanted to say how pleased I was with all aspects of the shave. Why the Palmolive stick gets used rarely is a mystery to me. Could it be the thought of not wanting to run out? The Streamline is a wonder to behold it brings out the very best of a blade in its 9th use. Lovely end to the week.

Single pass with light cleanup before a field trip to the museum today. Binned the blade after a so so shave. This razor usually gives a great shave but if the blades done it's done.

Fri 15th Nov The Grosvenor ( 404-mixed ) EJ Cooling Menthol 1 ER HFT , Gem S/S ( 6 ) 2 Occams V2 / plate 3 Feather Proguard ( 3 ) Pitralon Polar A/S Lotion My first Choice of Razor today had to be abandoned as the blade was shot.As I wanted a guaranteed quality Shave without fuss, I picked the Occams. The Shave went very well and my face besides being closely Shaven felt nice and refreshed with the Menthol kick from the Shaving Cream.

16/11/2019 Pre: Pears Transparent Original Brush: Simpson Chubby 2 Synth Soap: Arran Machrie Razor: XXXX Blade: XXXXXX Post shave: Alum Block, cold water splash, Homemade Witch Hazel Balm: Arran Machrie Aftershave: Arran Machrie The stuff i can show of this weeks tools Good morning All, Back on an unmentionable rotation as i need to start whittling down my collection. I will be keeping All of my vintage SE's and Most of my New SE's, its the unmentionables i need to Cull, therefore i need to choose which i like most and get it down to 5 or 6 or less? So a nice shave this morning trying a different, less sharp but smooth, blade in a very aggressive (for me) unmentionable which i want to get on with as it looks so good. Have a great weekend All.
