Sat 23rd Nov. Cyril Salter/ MS. ED2band P & B Spitfire Schick Type F Schick-"Chick" [ 6 ] P & B A/S Splash Continued my run of great Injector Shaves with the Type F. Being milder than other Razors , Shave time is longer but the F feels so good in the hand when using it- time does not matter.

24/11/2019 Pre: Pears Transparent Original Brush: Vintage Vulfix Service #3 Soap: Vintage GIBBS 1950's Razor: Ever Ready HFT-E Bar Blade: Personna GEM PTFE (8) Post shave: Alum Block, cold water splash, Homemade Bay Rum Astringent Balm: Vintage Tabac Black Aftershave: Tabac Original Splash and EDC Another fine, comfortable shave today. 3 wide smiled audible passes giving a BBS finish. The Vintage Creams are a joy to use although the scent is a bit diminished but still "clean" smelling, i also leave a coating of pears soap on the chin as i feel it adds a bit slickness to the shave which these vintage creams seem to lack, i sometimes add a couple of drops of glycerin to the lather for a similar effect. Again i have shampooed the Vintage brush after use, they are not used regularly so this is done to keep any nasties at bay, i actually use medicated dog shampoo with tea tree oil. Keeps them tip top. The Vintage Tabac Black balm has lost its scent a bit compared to the up to date version but still works well, then the Splash and EDC gives me that 70's hit. A very happy shaver today, clean, smooth and refreshed. A walk with the dogs on this cloudy morning then off to visit the Mothership. Have a great Sunday All.

SE Sunday's Shave Cold Water Rinse Mitchell's Wool Fat Jayaruh #313 Ever-Ready Lather Catcher Henckels Wedge CWR Cella After Shave My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Mitchell's Wool Fat Shave Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #313 Badger Brush. I did two passes and a cleanup with the Ever-Ready Lather Catcher razor with a Henckels Wedge blade. It was not as close as I would like, so I did a clean up pass with my Schick G and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Cella After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Yup. She is a 21mm. Glad you like it . I'm "lightly" looking for a flat top badger and everything I'm seeing says smaller is better with these knots. Smaller as in 18-22mm. It really is a nice knot. If I did it over I would set it deeper. But it is good to go aa is.

But it is good to go aa is. I set the knot in the twin brush higher as it had a shorter loft. Used 2 nickels . I made the holes approx 17 mm deep in those 2 handles .
