Today I had a bit of fun with a Shovelhead showdown. This was my first use of the short necked shovel head. I've heard it's a more aggressive razor so I wanted to do a comparison. The short neck is definitely a bit more aggressive and a bit more efficient. I didn't feel like there was a huge difference though. I switched both over to baton handle witch I greatly prefer to the standard short handle the usually have. Also I ended up rinsing out the Arko Proraso blend and going with straight Arko. For some reason this Proraso seems to have a negative slickness and glide. It actually seems to make the razor stick and chatter on my skin. Maybe it's just my hard water but I'm am not impressed. Look for another head to head showdown tomorrow with a different set of razors.

Sunday night shave Razor: Shake Sharp Blade: G($&@@$ 7Clock 😬 Brush: Simms travel Soap: Boots. Good stuff 👍 AS: Vintage Old Spice 👍 Nice shave today with a controversial razor. As is can only use one side it qualifies. Barely. Anyhow I have been straying of late. I need to get my wedge blades back in order to do some proper shaving.

Sun 24th Nov. RazoRock Syn.22mm P & B Pall Mall Schick B1 Schick Proline [ 6 ] Floid Vigoroso A/S Lotion As in no rush to get out the door today I decided to go for an "Oldie". When using Razors like the B1 it is best not too rush and take care with the Shave, by doing so both the B & C series deliver excellent quality Shaves with no problems during/ post Shave. Felt today that the blade should be retired as it was rather harsh when clearing the tip of my chin.

Today I put the curved top squathead against the flat top with the Ted Pella on its 3rd use. I didn't have very much stubble for a fair comparison so I will revisit this matchup later. However I believe the curved top is the slightly more aggressive of the two.
