Saturday Shave Razor: Supply V2 in Polished Stainless - much grippier today as I rubbed my fingers on an alum stick. Brush: Muhle Silver Tip Fibre Soap: Soapy Science Rosa Pura AS: Reuzel which has quickly become my favorite with La Toja and Krampert's Bay Rum tied in second place, third place is AV Sport, 4th is Skin Bracer and Regular AV. Everything else could go away and I would not miss it. Good shave from the Supply.

Gem Featherweight DeLuxe Gem SS Ever Ready 100 Tabac B&M Seville Tabac Gentle Mens Care, balm First use of the DeLuxe, great little razor. The Featherweight was my first experience of a SE , now having the DeLuxe version is the icing on the cake! Hey, I've shaved with that. LOL. It is a nice shave, and it's in great condition considering when that thing must have been made.

So now you and I both used it, I wonder how many others have used it in it's long history or indeed how many might in years to come. You got to love these vintage razors. Thanks again

SE Sunday's ShaveCold Water Rinse GZD Berber Stick Jayaruh #2 1902 Kampfe Brothers/Star Star Wedge CWR Pinaud Clubman My prep was just a cold water rinse. The GZD Berber Stick Shave Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #2 Badger Brush. I did two passes and a cleanup with the 1902 Kampfe Brothers/Star Lather Catcher razor with a Star Wedge blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Pinaud Clubman After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed... Postscript: This is a shoutout to twhite, my go to guy for making things sharp. I sent him three wedges to be honed and sharpened and this Star wedge was among them. This was my first shave with it since it got home. I paired it with the 1902 Kampfe Brothers/Star Lather Catcher, and boy, this was a great shave. I showed the setup to the wife, and she sends her complements on the shave results. Rubbing my face, she says I look good.

I have never used a wedge yet, although I do have a freshly honed Rolls blade ready to go, once my spuds grow a bit.😉

Just remember the kick stand is not a safety guard. It is there to protect the blade when you set it down.

Today's Daily Double paired the Enders speed loaded with a first use Schick proline B20 and an unmentionable style unmentionable loaded with an unmentionable blade. Mer Shavings Fougere Bay on two hand badger provided the glide with a dab of lotion for a little extra slickness.
