Menthol Monday's ShaveCold Water Rinse TSD Iced Lime Shave Soap Jayaruh #199 Schick M2 Adjustable Schick Proline CWR Osage Rub My prep was just a cold water rinse. The TSD Iced Lime Shave Soap face lathered well with Jayaruh #199 Brush. I did two passes and a cleanup with the Schick M2 Adjustable razor with a Schick Proline blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

23/12/2019 Pre: Hot shower Brush: Jayaruh #291 Soap: Proraso Red Razor: ER 1912 USA Blade: Personna GEM PTFE (2) Post shave: Alum Block, cold water splash, Homemade Bay Rum Astringent Balm: Bart's Balm Rosemary and Sandalwood Lotion & Balm Aftershave: CK One Today i used my 1 and only USA 1912, 3 passes for a wonderful finish. It is a very nice razor to use and it could be a little milder than the British made 1912's. A very nice post shave routine leaving me soft supple and smelling very nice indeed. Have a great day All.

SOTD 12-23-2019: Star (1912) with a baton rouge for a shave in....well, not too far from Baton Rouge. The blade was a Gem SS PTFE on its 13th shave. The soap was RR Acqua lathered with a Yaqi 24mm Sagrada Familia. I got a solid DFS after 2-passes plus a quick clean-up!!! Love the handle, but the top cap has a little play in it....not so much that the blade was moving around, but enough that I heard some rattling when I rinsed the razor.

Just a little cleanup shave tonight with the Star version of the Gem Jr. Parade and a 3rd flip Gem SS blade. This is a great little razor. Tabac on a high loft RazoRock boar for lather. And a splash of witch hazel and some proraso white cream finished things off.

Mon 23rd Dec. Stirling Syn. 30mm Stirling Baker Street PAL Injectomatic de Luxe NOS Schick S/S - Holland [ 1 ] Pitralon Classic A/S Lotion As a pre Xmas treat I used a fresh blade, not any old blade but a Dutch one. IMHO they are probably the best Injector blades that I have used, so the outcome of todays Shave was very smooth with an ultra close finish.

24/12/2019 Pre: Pears Transparent Original Brush: Jayaruh #291 Soap: Proraso Red Razor: ER 1914 Blade: Personna GEM PTFE (3) Post shave: Homemade Witch hazel with added oils Balm: Tabac Vintage Aftershave: Tabac Original EDT An earlier than usual shave today as i was up early on my day off. Not a lot to go at after yesterdays very nice close shave. A face Lather this morning with the JR #291 which has a very good backbone and it whipped up the Proraso Red to a great slick chin covering. 2 easy passes with the 1914, XTG & ATG. No alum block today, just a splash of witch hazel infused with some Neroli & Orange essential oils. It took longer to clean up than shave today. Quick but very enjoyable. DFS+ result feeling good & smelling very Kojak. Enjoy your Christmas Eve All, i hope you're all ready for tomorrow.
