Love the handle on both the razor and the brush. Thank you -- I've always been a fan of Yaqi's "Mysterious Space" handles, and that Ever-Ready handle is one of my favorites. Your new G-Bar is beautiful...looks like NOS! Thanks It's in very good condition but not NOS. There are some very light scratches on the top cap.

01/01/2020 WILLIAMS WEDNESDAY
Pre: Pears Transparent Original Brush: JR #355 Soap:Williams Mug Shaving Soap Razor: Supply V2 Blade: Personna (6) Post shave: Alum Block, cold water splash, Homemade Witch Hazel Balm: Barts Balm Lime Balm & Lotion Aftershave: 1912 Citrus Musk Although i am running an unmentionable rotation Williams Wednesday just has to be carried out with an SE. I have settled on using an old Proraso tub to hold the puck and it worked well. 2 Passes for a very nice finish today. Happy New Year All.

Wednesday 1st January Vitos Pre Shave Wickham 1912 Scottish Heather Soap Simpson Commodore X3 Badger Brush Broman SE Thayers Witch Hazel with Cucumber Creighton's Moisturiser Grey Flannel EDT My planned week for Unmentionable razors came to an abrupt halt with the arrival of my Broman SE. In use similar to the Focus R48 but without the learning curve for fitting a blade. 3 passes for a fantastic finish. I should comment that as the soap was so slick....there was very little blade feel after the first pass but stubble was still evident in the shaved off lather. (Use of this razor in TOST2 has been pre approved by Fuzzy) I hope everyone has a Happy and Prosperous 2020.

Williams Wednesday's Shave Happy 2020Cold Water Rinse Williams Mug Soap Jayaruh #30 Schick Repeating Type C Schick Proline B-20 CWR Pinaud Clubman AS What better way to start off a new year than with Williams Mug Shaving Soap. My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Williams Mug Soap face lathered well with Jayaruh #30 Brush. I did two passes and a cleanup with the Schick Repeating Type C razor with a Schick Proline blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Pinaud Clubman AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

January 1, 2020Happy New Year!!! I rang in the new year with a daily-double….with 2 iconic razors (at least to me) in their respective genres (unmentionable & SE). The unmentionable is unmentionable, but it's partner, the Gem Zinn Automatic had a relatively new (~3 shaves) Schick Proline B-20. The soap was my very first, Cella, and it was lathered with a relatively new badger brush. The Zinn took the second pass (and some light touch-up)....the result was DFS+ and well worthy of a new year!!!

Had a great shave today. First and second pass Gem Damaskeene Light cleanup and back of neck Henckels Rapide Both razors shared a new Gem SS blade. Cella lathered a bit wet on my two band SHD badger provided excellent cushion and glide.
