Skipped the shave yesterday, but made up for it with today's shave....another Schick Adjustable (M3) with LEA Professional Barbershop cream lathered with a 26mm Yaqi Faux Horse knot in the rainbow handle. I did another 3-pass shave going up one-notch per pass (5-6-7)....I think 6 is the right setting for me, but even going to 7 I was able to get a DFS+ with no blood or irritation. This razor is so smooth and so comfortable, I'm really enjoying it.

I just saw this. Any news on what os going on? Thanks for your concern! The audiologist on wednesday appears to have reached the correct conclusion.....an inner ear infection on both sides with the symptoms being masked by the cold/flu. Both ED and my own doctor missed it. My GP had given me antibiotic drops which were ineffective as the infection was on the other side of the eardrum. I went back to the Doctor yesterday with a letter from the audiologist and she put me on a course of Oral antibiotics which seem to be taking effect. My hearing is starting to return and I no longer have to listen to that infernal mechanical clock which has been ticking constantly in my head for the last few days! So glad you didn't permanently lose your hearing. I've had some pretty bad inner and outer ear infections. Including one time that was inner and outer both ears a nasal infection and an abscessed tooth. It was extremely painful but I've never lost hearing.

It's been a long time since I shaved my head. I used 4 razors total today between shaving my head and my regular shave. I started things off with a 5th use Gem SS blade but switched it out for a new one about half way through. The Gem bumpless MMOC, Gem CP, TNNSER 3D and Henckels Rapide all plaid a part in a great shave. Mer Shavings Mysore Sandalwood on SHD two band badger provided a great lather with plenty to spare. Here I am about half way through the first pass with the Henckels Rapide. I didn't bother to trim my hair before the shave. I can say that the Clog-proof isn't quite clog-proof. But the Rapid handled things surprisingly well although i did have to rinse frequently it rinsed out very easily. The other three razors handled the rest of the shave pretty equally. And here is the end result. A very close comfortable shave. Except of course for my beard witch I don't plan on ever shaving.

Fri 10th Jan.
RazoRock syn.22mm Vitos Super Red Occams -Enoch Schick Proline [ 2 ] Pitralon Classic A/S Lotion
Prior to second Shave noticed that blade not set properly, had come off retaining lugs when I slackened off handle to rinse Razor. IMHO when using the Schick Blade the retaining lugs seem too shallow. Once fixed the Shave was excellent with a great finish. For some reason my photo will not load.
Good News- Had further X Rays on leg, Consultant says I may walk with Boot for 5 - 6 weeks, but do not need to wear it when in recliner with leg raised, nor in bed which is nice. Try driving after 6 weeks.

Shick injector shave on the noggin tonight. Face was an unmentionable (sorry Fuzzy) @wchnu. I will do a good deed to repent my sin and shave twice on Wednesday with the Williams. *Seems I cannot upload a pic due to site storage space or something. *

Fuzzy ( wchnu ) will most likely increase the photo storage on the site, but let me extol the virtues of Post Image -- it's free, it's easy to use with either your phone, tablet, computer or chromebook -- I HIGHLY recommend it. It also works just as easily across the street as it does here. I fought using one of these cloud-service-places for a long time, but now I can't imagine going back to the old method.

Also if you do choose to upload your picture as an attachment to the site, don't upload the raw image from your camera, learn how to process your images on your computer or your phone for best display on the Internet. Resize your images to a reasonable resolution and use JPG compression. Basic image editing software is easily found for free to do the job. You can easily reduce the file size of your image a massive amount for fast upload and display with virtually no loss of image quality instead of painfully slow upload and display and wasting a lot of photo storage space on the site.

I agree completely. Postimage will allow you to upload images up to a max of 12MB and gives a forum option which links to your picture in a forum friendly fashion with no expiry if you so desire. I preprocess my images to the desired size usimg a free photo editor called GIMP as I use a Raspberry Pi4 (Linux) as my main surfing option instead of a phone.

Got photo uploaded, cannot work out how to transfer it to the forum. Sorry not au fair with this sort of thing. Once it's uploaded, you should see a "Share" button somewhere. When you click on Share, it will give you several links that you can copy....I use the Direct Link. Once you've copied the Direct Link, then go to this forum and look for the Picture Frame Icon. It's the 8th one counting from the right. That's the insert image. When you click it, then you'll be able to paste in the image link in to the URL box, and when you hit the insert image button the image will show up in your post. See how easy that is . I know, it sounds like a lot of silly steps, but it isn't bad. Let us know how it goes. Oh and one last thing, while you can upload images without creating a PostImage account, I found that I needed an account to be able to save images. All you need for a PostImage account is an email address....there is no charge or fee. I'm not the best at directions, so if someone else who uses this can give clearer instructions, please jump in.

One of the sharing options is 'Hot link for forums' If you click on the box to the right of that....the url of your photo is copied into the clip board. You can paste this into the position you want and once posted it automatically links to your photo.
I have never used the direct link!
